“Al-Qa’qa’ - Bin Amr Al Tamimi (radiyAllaahu 'anhu)”

*****
“When Amr Ibnul-Aas wanted to propagate and spread the word of Islam towards Egypt, he sent for Umar Ibnul-Khattab (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) asking him for an army.

Umar (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) asked Amr about how many warriors he needed; Amr claimed to need 4,000 warriors. Umar (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) sent only four.

Amr, shocked, called for Umar (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) again asking him why he had sent only four when he had asked for four thousand?

Umar (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) angrily said, “I sent you four warriors each one of them equal to a thousand.”

“How is that?” Amr asked. Umar (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) replied, “I swear by Allah that al-Qa’qa’s voice in battle is better than a thousand warriors.”

The battle started, Muslims were surrounding a fortress which was difficult to conquer. They were losing spirit, when suddenly al-Q’aqa’ started crying out in a loud voice saying, “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest).”

His voice lifted the Muslims’ spirits. The fortress was conquered and the Muslims won. Amr cried saying, “Umar (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) was right, he knew his men better than me. This man is better than a thousand men.”

Which sole ayah in the Quran consists of the full Arabic alphabet?

^ You didn't actually give a reference for the surah name so I couldn't go and check to make sure (half your pic is cut off) but I cannot see the letter 'thaa' ث
Try again :D

^Thaa is there in second line, thrice in Line 5 and twice in line 6 :ermm:

It's Ayah 254 from Surah Ale Imran. Sorry about that.

Letter 'thaa' I cannot see. The third letter in the Arabic alphabet, maybe cuz half the pic is cut off. :ermm:

Also there are only 200 Ayahs in Surat Aahl-Imran. :/

Abu ya7ya are we reading the same ayah? The letter 'thaa' only comes once and it's the first letter!! That's why I couldn't see it cuz the pic was cutt off. But we learn something new everyday cuz I actually thought the last ayah of surtul Fatih was the only ayah that consisted of the full Arabic alphabet, guess we can add this ayah to it too :D

JazakAllahu Khayran!
