Islamic sites in different languages

Presented in Malay, Ikim FM is the first radio focus on news and entertainment in Islamic way. Operated by Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (Institute of Islamic Understanding); tests began on 91.5 MHz for KL area 13 June 2001, officially launched 6 July 2001. Plans to use English language for 20% of broadcasts in future.

Can find news in arabic too.

I thought "Suara Islam" (Voice of Islam - operated by RTM) is the first religious oriented radio in Malaysia.

Maybe IKIM should introduce IKIM TV. There zillions of channels in Malaysia, but none are dedicated to Islam 100% (except Ansar Channel which is only available in Klang Valley via MiTV, which is not popular)

so OFFICIALLY... we have no Islamic TV Channels....

I've surfed the MiTV website, they would re-launch the cable service... I hope they'll retain Ansar Channel ... and spread their services up north.

I hate ASTRO, they raised the price and put zillions of chinese and tamil channels...... the reasons why I do subscribe to ASTRO are because of Al Jazeera channels, ART and those News and Education channels.

Wow.....................

You should post more about your people and culture in this forum. Maybe teaching us Uyghur in the Languages thread.
