Islamic Software for the Mac or PC

Assalam Alaikum,

I have found some Islamic software for the Mac and PC that I thought might be of interest to the brothers, and sisters of this forum. I lot of it is Mac software since I use a Mac, but most run on Windows as well. All of the software is free to download.

Quranic Software:

1. Zekr: (Mac and PC)
This is a Quran study software which runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is a great tool for anyone who wish learn or research the Quran. It comes in various different languages, and various different translations, and transliterations which can be modified to your liking. I think it is a real gem when it comes to Islamic software. 2. Qir’at Reciter: (Mac and PC)
Qir’at reciter is a Quran reciting software from Guidedways which runs on various operating systems. Personally I do not think that it is a good as Zekr (it is buggy on my Mac), but it is still a very good piece of software for those interested in learning, or researching the Quran. Prayer times Software:

1. Guidance: (Mac OS X Only)
Guidance is a freeware Prayer times software for the Mac operating system. There is a lack of software for the Mac, and I found this one to stand above the other free prayer times software (Prayer times) for the mac, and comparable to the $20 Macqibla. The download is below.

2. Prayer times: (Mac and PC)
This is another free software from our friends at Guidedways, and runs on various operating systems. In my personal experience it is harder to work and somewhat less accurate in getting times in rural areas (such as where I live), when compared to Guidance. However I never tried the Windows version, and regardless it is a great tool for the majority of people. The link is below.

3. Athan/Azan: (Windows Only)
I do not use a windows PC so I cannot give an opinion to how good this software is, but it may be of good use to Windows users. It is the most popular religious software according to download.com. The download link is below.
