Yet so many of us conveniently forget that when it comes to Israel or the US.

And to those who justify blatant hate-mongering of Israel, rather than a balanced criticial examination, I say where are your 'we need to identify the problem before we tackle it' arguments when people mention atrocities comitted in the name of Islam, or atrocities comitted in Muslim lands by people calling themselves Muslims? Why is it if we point out that a certain Muslim leader uses terror, we are said to be backbiting, when we can call Israelis terrorists and be commended for somehow being 'good' Muslims? Why is it that we seem only to want to point out injustices when they are perpetrated by non-Muslims?

Anyway, that rant was off-topic. Just needed to get it off my chest.

Everyone, please keep this a civil critical examination of a certain state's actions rather than an open floodgate to every anti-Israeli argument you might possibly think of.

A straw man argument. I thought your post was a response to mine. I was saying 'We shouldn't hate Israel, we should hate injustice itself, wherever it is', and then I thought you replied 'Oh, so you're defending Israel?' That's a straw man.

If you were not replying to my post, I apologise for any confusion or upset I caused.
 
Whatever goes up must come down... When it is again time for True Islam to rise, peace will be spread! We will just have to wait and see!

As well as testifying the One-ness of God (Btw,.Al - means THE. Lah - Means God ) a muslim must testify the fact that Muhammed s.a.w is the last prophet.

"La illahah ilalah,Muhammed 'ur rasoollilah"

Adam a.s IS a muslim,Moses/Musa IS a muslim,Noah/Nur IS a muslim,Jesus/Eisa a.s IS a muslim. They accepted the Oneness of Allah,Since Muhammed s.a.w wasnt around at that time,they couldnt say "he is the last messenger"

I dont know where i am going with this,so i think i'll go now.

I'd just like to remind everyone, that while it's easy for us to call for Allah to destroy Israel (i've certainly done it a couple of times), the fact remains that we are the cause of the Ummah's downfall.
Look at what Umar ibn al Khattab said to Sa'ad ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with them both) when he sent him on the battle of Qadisiyyah (i believe):“Fear your sins more than you fear the enemy as your sins are more dangerous to you than your enemy. We Muslims are only victorious over our enemy because their sins outnumber ours, not for any other reason. If our sins were equal to those of our enemy, then they would defeat us due to their superior numbers and resources.”
Something for us all to reflect on, insha-Allah.
