Javed Ahmad Ghamidi aur Darhi ke sharie hasiyyat

Javid Ahmad Ghamdi is a big fitna for Muslims. He rejects Hadith altogether by calling it nothing more than history. Some of his false beliefs are:
1. Hadith is nothing more than history and it should not be used to derive any rulings in Islam.
2. Jesus ( peace be upon him) died and there is no proof of his second coming.
3. Women can lead prayer and give jumma khutba.
4. Hijab is not compulsory for women.
5. Music and painting is allowed in Islam.
6. People can buy houses on interest by modern day interest is not the interest as it was understood by companions and prophet peace be upon him.
7. Beard has no value other than culture of Arabs at the time of prophet peace be upon him.

And list can go on and on. His followers are liberal Muslims because his version of Islam perfectly fits in their life style.
Stay away from him and his followers and admins perhaps should not allow any of his lectures on this forum.

He is not a fitna, His povs are based on ijtihad.
There was a woman who led prayers in a mosque and she was appointed by the Prophet SAWW. Muhammad Hamidullah in the Emergence of Islam has clearly stated the incident.
And secondly, yes hadith are our solemn belief, but there are hadith that are now being declared weak in nature. I am not saying to oppose hadith altogether, but try to understand his point of view.
His point of views are based on the modern state system or nation state system. If you read his books and articles, you might understand him better, But calling someone a fitnah just because u don't like his ideas is just wrong, This is how sectarianism begins, we don't like the ideas shia hold so should we call them a fitnah aswell?
 
What’s your proof that prophet peace be upon him appointed a woman to lead prayer for both men and women?
And you did not defend his other false beliefs? IlWhat you are calling his ijtihad is nothing but deviance and people who are deviant are fitna just like Shias are. Anyways don’t expect me to get into arguments to prove who he is, just look up what he preaches and that is enough of a proof for a person with sound aqeedah.
 
Everyone believes his faith is the right one.. The wahabis do so, so do the barelvis so on and so forth.. But we have no right to call anyone fitna. That's all Iam saying. I respect his views and admire his approach.
 
Really sister? You admire that he goes against the classic thinking of majority of Muslims scholars to such great length that he denies the second coming of Jesus (peace be upon him) - you must knows that only Qadiyani (Ahmadi) have this view & subhanallah you admire that?
 
He never denied the coming of jesus christ.. He sd he wont come as a prophet but as a follower of Propht muhammad saww.
And subhanAllah classic islamic scholars also tell that there is no longer need of ijtihad.. So is it true? They say a woman cant leave home without a mehram but Ayesha waged a war against Ali without one.

Let me break it down for you:
1. He used wrong interpretation of the Quran to say that Jesus ( peace be upon him) died a natural death. He further said that second coming of Jesus ( peace be upon him) is not proven from Quran and Quran in fact denies that concept.
2. Then he said that second coming of Jesus ( peace be upon him) is only mentioned in books of Hadith which were complied 2-3 centuries later and we are not required to believe in them. He specifically mentioned Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari ; basically denied accuracy of both of them just to support his baseless view.
3. You previously mentioned that he believes is second coming of Jesus ( peace be upon him), while this video clip is not supporting what you said.

I am not arguing for the sake of argument only. As a Muslim, I think it’s our duty to warn people against these fitnas. If you still want to listen, appreciate and follow him then know that it will only take you away from straight path. Anyways I did my part to warn against him, you are free to follow him if you like.
 
I sd watch the video where he told why hw doesnt believe it.
And are his claims any wrong? It took almost 90 yrs to compile first book of the hadith.. If u tell one person something, by the time it would reach the 6th or 7th it will become quite different. Known as Chinese whispers..
And how do u know the ones u follow interpreted the Quran correctly?
Javed ahmad sahb has not introduced any bidah etc instead he focuses on the Quran and also to an extent on hadith. And there are hadith even i have apprehensions about. E.g the one in tirmidihi that dua can change qadr, but in the quran it is clearly mentioned everything has been preordained. I think u shared the ayat a few weeks back.
 
There is nothing right at all with his interpretation of the Quran and coming with with his own deviant ideas which on one except Qadiyanis have. All Sunni Muslims and even Shia’s believe in second coming of Jesus ( peace be upon him) & this is something even people of book believe in. Clearly one who does not believe is going against 99.99% Muslims and other people of book.
Regarding Hadith, those were not compiled 70 years after prophets death or three centuries after. Companions of prophet used to write Hadith. Many companions have their own books of hadiths and this knowledge was passed on to next generation both through writing and through memorization just like Quran has been preserved.

How do u know this lecturer is corrext. And ghamdi sahb is wrong? U can keep emphasising that he holds same views as qadiyanis but that is far from the truth.. This is the beauty of islam, u should do independent research and then come to any conclusion.. Otherwise barelvis are also deviant, so aee deobandis, and so on
 
I think you still fail to understand that his views are not held my any of the Muslims whether they are Shia or Sunni. I will not get into debate about other sects in Islam. I am only talking about this one particular individual because I have done extensive research on him.
And beauty of Islam is that we have everything documented. We don’t come up with our own opinions, we follow Quran and Sunnah. And without Hadith one can’t understand Quran in a way it was revealed and one can’t follow complete message of Islam.
Learning knowledge from authentic source is a road which leads to right path, and learning knowledge from deviants leads to doubts and it’s a poison which will kill your faith without you even realizing it. As a result of listening to this deviant, you have started to doubt hadiths as well. If that’s not a clear sign then I am not sure what it is!!!
