"Do not move your feet except where you expect the
turning of Allah. Do not sit except where you are safe
from disobeying Allah. Do not keep company except with
the one who will help you to obey Allah. Do not choose
for yourself anyone except the one who will increase
you in certainty, and they are very few."

Bury your existence in the earth of obscurity. What grows without being buried, will not completely flourish.”

“Let go of your worries
and be completely clear-hearted,
like the face of a mirror
that contains no images.
If you want a clear mirror,
behold yourself
and see the shameless truth,
which the mirror reflects.
If metal can be polished
to a mirror-like finish,
what polishing might the mirror
of the heart require?
Between the mirror and the heart
is this single difference:
the heart conceals secrets,
while the mirror does not.”

"In your despairing you are a free man, but in your coveting you are a slave."

"If you want a glory that does not vanish, then do not glory in a glory that vanishes"

"Hope goes hand in hand with deeds, otherwise it is just wishful thinking"

"That part of your life that has gone by is irreplacable, that which has arrived is priceless"

"Child, your yearning for God Almighty is not true, nor do you truly seek Him. One who professes to follow God's will while he is calling for someone else's help has refuted his own claim. Amongst the so-called seekers of God, the majority love the world, few love the hereafter, and even fewer consent to God's will and seek Him.

They are as rare as red sulfur. These are unique individuals who are the rarest of the rare. It is even very rare to meet one of them. They are the select few, the beacons of faith, the pride of the lands, the gems of the earth and the true kings on it. They are God's providence to the land and its people. They are the pillars of the earth and its protection. They are the leaders of the people and their chancellors. Because of them, people are saved from calamities and because of them, God Almighty makes the skies rain and plants thrive. "

''We used to say that those amongst us with the most sins are those who spend their time talking about the sins of others." :D

"When love of this world enters the heart, fear of the Hereafter exits from it. Beware of worldly distractions, for no servant opens a door of this world without several doors of works for the Hereafter being shut before him. " :D

as promised here it is:

"By the mercy of God Paradise has eight doors
one of those is the door of repentance, child.
All the others are sometimes open, sometimes shut;
but the door of repentance is never closed.
Come seize the opportunity: the door is open;
carry your baggage there at once."

Imam al-Ghazali
Know that [Ihsaan] is two things: Truthfulness with Allah Almighty and
good conduct with people. Anyone who practices these two things is a
[Muhsin]. Truthfulness with Allah is that the servant puts an end to his
ego's shares in the divine command. Good conduct with people is to not
prefer one's demands over theirs as long as their demands are within the
parameters of the Law. Whoever approves of the contravention of the Law
or contravenes it can never be a [Muhsin], and if he claims he is, he is
lying.

2. To follow the Sunnah of the Prophet(SAW) by action and speech.

3. To keep away from dependence on people.

4. To be happy with what Allah gives you, even if it is little.

5. To always refer your matters to Allah, Almighty and Exalted."

Imam Shafi said:

" I accompanied the [righteous] people and I received from them three kinds of knowledge:

1. They taught me how to speak

2. They taught me how to treat people with leniency and a soft heart.

3. They guided me in the ways of [righteousness]." [Tanwir Al-Qulub, p405]
