Fasting in the Day of ‘Arafah

What the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam) said regarding fasting on the day of ‘Arafah:

“Be content with the fact that Allah will expiate for you your sins for the year before (the day of ‘Arafah) and the year after (the day of ‘Arafah).

Assalam-o-Allikum
ive read on many sites that Eid in uk is on BOTH 19th and 20th so fasting on the 18th would make that the day of ‘Arafah ? - And would this also mean ive completed my fasting from Ramadan?

:w: Doesn't it depend on when the first day of Eid is? Coz isn't 'Arafah the day before the first day of Eid-ul Udha? :?

Wow... for some of you here, you'll be seeing this thread after a year.

Insha'Allah, let's fast in the hope that we gain Allah's forgiveness. :)

Today is the 2nd of Dhul Hijjah, so the day of 'Arafah will be on the 9th. Next week?
