Learning Al-Fatiha - recommend some reciters please

I am not a Muslim - I am considering it deeply - but I've decided to learn the basics of prayer and some Quran verses.

So I've decided to start with Al-Fatiha and memorize it in Arabic (I don't speak Arabic, only English). I am making a playlist on my ipod of different reciters, and then I can listen to it on a loop wherever I go until I know it by heart.

I have a recording of Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi. It had an English translation after the Arabic, but I edited that out so it's just the Arabic. I love his recitation and it's my favorite of a few I've heard. But I want to get a good variety so who else would you recommend? Some reciters I can download on the Internet would be preferred.

Good thread. I am also in the process of learning Al Fatiha in Arabic. I memorized in English about a week ago so I try to learn one new line in Arabic every couple of days. I'm almost all the way through it. Only 3 more lines to go.
 
Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi was my favorite, but now I Mishari Rashid Al-Afasy is :-) What a tremendous voice and talent.
 
Mishary-Al-Afasy. Is a beautiful reciter. MashAllah

My children while they were learning Surah-al Fatiha would listen to him :)
 
Their are lots of best reciter and you may best decide which one is best for you, so better is to search on youtube and on Google too. You will be satisfied after hearing

I remember myself to you, when I was 16 my eldest sister used to bring me in Islamic School. I was not student but they are kind to allow me inside. I dont have intention to be Muslim, I have bad memory but when the teacher told me to recite Al-fatiha, I did it well LOOOL. Allah put it in my heart, Subhanallah...
7 years later I become Muslim, after truly enrolling myself to Islamic school.

Back to topic, I find Brother Sudais best reciter, pls try to search him
and another best way to recite Surrah is by printing or downloading the text in your phone & use it as guidance for pronunciation.

Salams brother a very good recitor mashallah is Sheikh Maher Al Muaiqly not many know him but im pretty sure once people listen to him they'll be amazed mashallah.
 
If you go to Youtube, you can type Fatiha Wisam Sharieff. It is a nice way to learn fatiha properly.
