Bro didnt coconut get the most votes on the poll? It did didnt it? I think it was popular amongst the members.

A comment sis Skye made got me thinking, it'd be great for all the participants to tell their ages (if they want).... something about a 15 year old competing with a 25 year old...there's obviouslty going to be a difference.

I think it was tied with either Ancient Wisdom or Entry 6. I'm glad people enjoyed all these stories. :)

I'm 23.

If it's a question of fairness, maybe there should be different age brackets in future - under 18's and over 18's or something of that nature.

That was a very good story mashallah. It was also the only 'period piece' as it were, which made it extra cool.
 
Yeah I think we should have age brackets as you put it. Insha'Allah. Although it depends if members want a contest in future.

The poll was more inclined towards yours I think akhee, wallahu A'lam I dont remem.

Mine was Ipod no one votes for it but I understand why grammer problems but no worry that might be my only story I write now because my grammer. If I'd won and I asked to be a mod not that I would impose on a request from Muhammad or any other Admins.
 
I think another contest would be nice. I hope more people will participate in future.

'Ancient Wisdom' was chosen by judges due to the writing quality, its description and the good use of language. The other stories had a stronger plotline and were deemed more creative than the winning story. However, the other stories were considered either poor in the use of language or because it wasn't vivid enough.

I suppose there was alot of areas which were not considered well. Such as group age. What judges were looking for etc. It was difficult to judge because the topic given was very broad and each story had a great quality about it.

Perhaps if there is another competition [this will depend on its popularity] then it can be more organised. Judging will be more rigid and it can be more like a professional competition for a better outcome.

Is the judges' feedback on each story going to be posted? :)
 
The feedback we had, the judge seems to have edited out ..? Just saw that now.

I'm not going to bother them to do it, if they want to insha'Allah they will. I think sis Silver Pearl will.
