Rule 1:
Always thanks to ALLAH, no matter how sad you are or how happy you are.

Rule 2:
Always believe in your self, no matter how many times you have failed.

Rule 3:
Never judge your self on the basis of other's comments/critics.

Rule 4:
Always be a good listener, but take decisions on the basis of pure logic.

Rule 5:
The last but not least, always be motivated. Because it is the key 2 a successful life!

Rule 3 is golden! :shade:

Don't let other people negatively define who you are....unless if they do so for your goodness and self development.

Greetings and peace be with you abo mussaab; thanks for sharing,

Rule 1:
Always thanks to ALLAH, no matter how sad you are or how happy you are.

Agreed, but I often forget.

Rule 2:
Always believe in your self, no matter how many times you have failed.

You only ever fail when you give up.

In the spirit of striving

All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten

by Robert Fulghum

Most of what I really need
To know about how to live
And what to do and how to be
I learned in kindergarten.
Wisdom was not at the top
Of the graduate school mountain,
But there in the sandpile at Sunday school.

These are the things I learned:

Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours.
Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life -
Learn some and think some
And draw and paint and sing and dance
And play and work everyday some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world,
Watch out for traffic,
Hold hands and stick together.
Be aware of wonder.

I hope i can find that story narrated by Salman(ra).

About a Grateful man who used to Praise Allah :swt: much. And strangely the more he Praised Allah :swt:, the more things would be taken from him.
And yet still he continues to Praise Allah. Until one day a man asks him; "what is left in your possession that you are still praising Allah for? You have nothing" He answered; "I Praise, Thank Allah for that which He has given me but I could not give to anyone else!"

Don't you see your eyes, don't you see your hands, your legs, your mind, your sanity, your health, your tongue, your speech, your organs.
Don't you see that you can smell, you can taste, you can walk, you can bow and you can prostrate. SubhanAllah

The ultimate state of Gratitude is to be grateful for what you have left when something you had is taken away from you.
وَإِن تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّـهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا
And if you were to count Allah's favors, you would not be able to number them;[16:18]

أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ
Be grateful to Me and to your parents;[31:14]

Truly, we are in safe hands as long as we stick to these words.
Hadrath Ali's (may Allah be pleased with him) words:

Hadrath Ali [ra] used to say:

"Whoever relies upon his sense / intelligence, Allah will make him go crazy"

"Whoever relies upon his knowledge, Allah will mislead him"

"Whoever relies upon his authority and power, Allah will humiliate him"

"Whoever relies upon his wealth, then it will let him down"

"Whoever relies upon Allah,
Allah will never let his down,
will never make him go astray"

:jz: for sharing.

Rule 1:
Always thanks to ALLAH, no matter how sad you are or how happy you are.

A good habit to develop in shaa Allah, is to say: 'Alhamdulillah alla kulli haal' (All praise is to Allah, in all conditions) - whenever anything goes wrong in life, even if it be as small as a pin-prick.
In this way, you are acknowledging Allah (subhanawatáala) as being the One who is in control of all situations in our life - both the good and 'bad', and by saying this immediately - it prevents one from losing patience and becoming frustrated, even in a difficult situation.

It takes away the difficulty from many unexpected trials, and places in ones heart a type of peace and calmness thats quite difficult to describe....
