There are many Masjid here are few where not only do you find brotherhood but you can seek knowldge:

Brixton Masjid

Al-Huda Masjid

East London Masjid

i dont like east london coz it seems to extravagant but that al-huda, where is that located?

im from south-east london so east london and brixton is ok for me to go to! but wheres al-huda :?

I dont live in the UK anymore but I would say East London Mosque was very good primarily cos of its strict segregation rules

As for regents Park mosque - it has good facilities but there is a bit too much "free mixing" going on there outside the prayer area and believe it or not it was even being used as a "dating spot" for a lot of Muslims and Muslimahs who were mixing freely in the hallways!

I dont know if its still the same or not but thats the reason I stopped goin there. But they do have good food :D

We seem to be dividing amongst ourselves. A masjid is a masjid. They are all used for one thing in common, that is salah. If one does not like a particular masjid, then one should not go there, end of story. However, we should not start speaking ill of the masaajid, for they are very sacred to us as muslims. As for the bro who was talking about dating in the ICC at regents park, it was some people who used to use the masjid premises to do such things, and it has been cracked down on. Secondly, there is no 'free-mixing' outside the prayer hall. Just because the men/women use the same entrance, it is up to them to avoid one another and not engage in forbidden things. It is like that in the haram of makkah/madinah. Men and women use the same gates there, no-one seems to complain then,

Well I've lived in East London all my life and basicly in my personal Opinion i think that Regent Park Mosque and Minhaj Ul Qur'an Mosque is relli relli good.

And Allah swt knows best.
