Common difficulty that faced by a woman in helping her female relative/friend to find a husband is, she doesn't have enough access to the men. Different than if a man tries to find a husband for his female relative, which he has large access to other men.

So, tell about your friend to your male relatives. In Shaa Allah, they can help to connect your friend with their male friends.

In the city I live in, one Muslim man used to run a "Muslim Marriage Bureau". Anyone (male or female) wanting to get married would contact him. He'd go to the house with the marriage proposal forms. He'd interview them, ask them all the relevant questions, write down a description of them and even take a picture of them. Also, they'd get asked what kind of spouse they're looking for, what kind of qualities, etc.

He then would go around looking for a woman/man that fits the description given. He'd find the woman/man, show the picture he had taken, give all the information, and if that woman/man is interested, he'd let them meet up, and if they're really interested, they'd get married.

So a person wanting to get married wouldn't need to do any of the work or the hunting around themselves. He'd do it on their behalf.

Obviously he used to get paid for his work.

Sort of like a real estate agent.
