Love the Creator more than what is created.

This is why those who have no faith in the creator are left with only love of materialism.

Nationalism is the same reason why Muslims wont let their daughter or sons marry someone from another race who is a Muslim. Let face it even those who in live in a Muslim land would rather die than let their daughter or son marry a black person (or anyone with darker skin tone) but wouldn't mind if they are white. This is not exclusive to those in the west.

Saudis have more rights than someone from different race who was born there (not that should matter as the same rule does apply to people who have stayed there for years).

Oh has anyone seen how Somalis refugees (possible other Africans too) are treated in Yemen? I watched it on Aljazeera.

Nice

Quite true, I think racism would be the right word for that, its very common every where now, a very pious muslim would be refused just for his color or whatever, and one who is not pious at all but has a lot of money would be received with open hands.

Shame on you muslims, thats all I can say, just shame on you

Muslims need to rediscover what becoming a muslim means before walking around and dirtying the beautiful picture that Islam actually has.

Just my opinion I see love of a person's homeland as loving the land Allaah(swt) created and not the same as loving the Government. I love the Beauty of America and am in awe at what Allaah(swt) has created, but I have no use for the Wasichu government that currently thinks it rules America. America has survived many governments and many more will come and go. But no government is the land and the land is what I find beauty in. Allaah(swt) has shown a touch of his handwork in the beauty of the Mountains, the vast plains and the many thousands of lakes along with wonders such as the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert, the glaciers of Alaska, the land of 1000 smokes, today called Yellowstone. Yes, their is a vast array of Allaah(swt)'s handiwork to view in awe upon Turtle Island (America). The government may be ugly, but the ugliness can not hide the wonder of what Allaah(swt) has created. I love this land even though I have no use for most of the politicians.

I can't remember the last time I thought of America (or any other country for that matter) like that. We've grown so accustomed to viewing these countries for their politics that it almost sounds strange to start talking about them as the beautiful pieces of land they are. :p

Bro Woodrow, you have got me temptated :p, theres so many amazing places in america I'd like to see - places you just don't find anywhere else - Yellowstone park is one of them. Allah has made those lands very beautiful, but the people ruling that area the ugliest in the world.

Each and every land has a unique beauty of it's own. I have yet to find any country I did not find much to love about it. Remove the man-made junk and look only at the wonder of what Allaah(swt) has created. Us Humans are very Pathetic creatures. We can hate a people so much we are willing to destroy the beauty of the land to conquer the people. Living among the Lakotah I have a renewed freshness about looking at each square inch of this beautiful planet we live on as a wonderful gift for all of mankind. We are fools to think we are owners of the land. Allaah(swt) has allowed us to be caretakers of this land and often we fail at this role. Look at the beauty found in any country and think of what a horrible sin it must be to destroy that beauty for the stupid goal of destroying people we think of as enemies.

The Oglala Sioux of Pine Ridge are among the most poverty stricken people on earth, yet they live on one of the largest gold deposits on earth. They will fight to the death to prevent any mining of the gold as doing so would destroy the beauty Allaah(swt) has given to be shared with all people. The Oglala have chosen poverty rather than destroy the Black Hills to dig up a worthless yellow metal to make jewelry for rich greedy spinsters and gold coins for misers.

If people could learn to love the land they live on and remember they have the task of being caretakers of the marvelous things Allaah(swt) has created, not owners and rulers of these gifts, perhaps it would be more difficult for us to be destroyers and conquerors. How ugly we often make the land become when we see human construction and progress as being greater than what Allaah(swt) has given for all people to share.

I say love our homelands, but love them as reflections of the wonder of Allaah(swt) and signs of his unlimited power. We hand the land over to Shaytan and cease to be protectors and caretakers, when we think we own the land and exploit it for human greed and pomposity. Yes, we can and should love our homelands, but love them and share them do not grasp them as selfish possessions and remember we have a duty to protect all land from being defiled by our human pride, and greed..
