Anyone can study they teach from the beggining or intermediate depending on the person the first two years are spent learning arabic the rest you pick a course such as hadith studies quran studies ect.

Ill do arabic for 2 years inshAllah, and prior to applying I did hifd on the Quran which helped. But what really matters is your desire for knowledge and if you have memorised the Quran, this will show it inshAllah.

lol @ yemen crew, no, its not that one our place was in a village called Dammaaj, secluded from dunyaa...
nearest town was a half an hour drive (sa'dah)

i think umm hamza might be referring to the one in san3aa forgot its name, owned by a bloke called zindaanee, quite a few foreiners go there, and theres another place in al baab (also san'aa but for arabic only)

there are more uni's though but these are the ones i know of...
