thanks for the advice,,,,,im lucky on one point,,,,i speak slower most of the time out of habit since my husband is from morocco ,,if i talk fast he doesnt always catch it all,,,,

another more advise..... Malaysia is part of the British Commonwealth.... thus made the Queen English as the Official English Language in Malaysia...

My lecturers wrote "BAD ENGLISH" for assignments that have American spellings...:giggling:

well i fly from kansas city kansas to salt lake city utah there is 3 hrs
then layover for 5 hrs
then from salt lake city to las angeles 1 hr
then layover 3 hrs
then Las angeles to kuala lumpur 16 hrs
total all together 29 hrs


then with time difference im going to be wiped out lol

i keep getting mixed information,,,,the hostel ive booked says if i take taxi that they will try and take me to wrong place on purpose,,,but there is no way i can lug 2 suitcases and carryon bag on a bus or train,,,so ill have to take a taxi pray i arrive at the right place lol

Maybe you should take a nap first after 29 hours of flying!!! There are lots of "Nasi Kandar" restaurants that open 24/7 in KL. Finding a halal place to eat is not a problem.

it's predicted that it'll be raining in most parts of Malaysia until Sunday... I wont blame you if you fall asleep because it's raining outside.

does rain mean it wont be hot,,,i hope its not too hot when i first get there lol its been evil hot here in kansas for 2 weeks,,,
i read that there is pizza hut and mcdonalds right close to where ill be staying and 7-11 lol just like home,,,haha

that's really in the centre of KL and I think the most busiest roundabout in Malaysia... there are mcdonalds, kfc, kenny rogers, starbuck, some Nasi Kandar restaurants... if you go to Central Market (just 5 mins walking)... the food court (on the top offers lots of Malay cuisines).

I think the nearest mosque is Masjid Jamek (the oldest mosque in KL)

Those hours sound like the ones my family always used to have to take when traveling from the Bahamas to Malaysia ffended:

I remember the last flight from Malaysia to the Bahamas was just one stop in Heathrow before landing in the Bahamas and the number of flight hours put together was almost 20. I hated being in the air for so long ffended:

This time insha'allah we're gonna try to go thru Cuba instead......

Oh talking about Cuba...my Adik is going to Cuba this monday insha'allah to have an operation performed on his back. He has a slightly severe case of Scoliosis and has to stay there for a month.
