Semenjak di terengganu ni saye terjumpa satu perkataan(slanga) yang agak menarik disini kalau dalam bahasa malaysia haiwan ni dipanggil Unta tapi di satu daerah disini(Kuala Berang) mereka panggil Kudo Nabeyy.(Kuda Nabi)

I found a really interesting (slang) word here,in plain Malay language we call this animal as Unta(camel) but in some territory in Terengganu these animal are known as Kudo Nabeyy.(Prophet's Horse)

What is the story behind Pulau Langkawi. ?

"Lang" (Eagle) and "Kawi" (Red) - "Langkawi" = "Red Eagles"

There are lots of red eagles in Langkawi.

From the myth I've heard, thousands of years ago... a Greek prince want to be married to a beautiful Chinese princess... but an Indian prince who also want to marry the Chinese princess want to kill the Greek prince upon hearing that he was sailing to China.

When the Greek prince and his ships arrived at the Straits of Malacca, the Indian prince ordered a giant bird called "Garuda" to attack the ships...

Luckily, during that time another giant bird called "Jentayu" was living in Langkawi Island. When "Jentayu" saw "Garuda" trying to attack the Greek prince, "Jentayu" attacked the "Garuda" and fighted and managed to killed Garuda with Jentayu's chin (after he broke his wings, claws and beak)... but sooner Jentayu also died because of the injury... so the Greek prince married the Chinese princess and their descendants are known as "Malays".

There is a song dedicated to "Jentayu" as he fought a bigger and stronger Garuda just to save true love (of those Greek prince and Chinese princess).

P/S: this is just a myth....
