As-Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah,
I'm Shahrukh, a travel guide by profession and a student of Islamic practices related to travel. During long journeys—especially across time zones or with back-to-back transit—it's sometimes difficult to keep track of Salah. While Islam allows for Qasr and Jama’, what’s the best way to handle situations where a prayer is unintentionally missed despite planning?
Also, are there scholarly views on whether Qasr can still apply if the Salah is performed after its time while traveling?
Would love to learn from your insights and references.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
