You are mistaken.Miracle is not essential to prove prophethood.There were many prophets but we do not see their miracles.
Even the Holy Prophet PBUH when claimed that he had received revelation ,he never said "come on I show you the miracles".If read the Holy Quran then examine what arguement did he present to the nation in favor of truthfulness.

قُل لَّوْ شَاء اللّهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلاَ أَدْرَاكُم بِهِ فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّن قَبْلِهِ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ﴿10:16﴾
(10:16) Tell them: 'Had Allah so willed, I would not have recited the Qur'an to you, nor would Allah have informed you of it. I have spent a lifetime among you before this. Do you, then, not use your reason? *

He presented his previous life and his character which he had shown to his nation in forty years.Did he say ,"that these are miracles which testify my prophethood"?
Even then Prophets were given miracles as secondary proof.Like shaqqul Qamar ,Or mehraaj and many others.Not the primary one. The basic aim of prophets was not showing miracles rather to spread the message of oneness of God.

splitting of the moon, when prophet (pbuh) made dua is that not a miracle to you? Prophet (pbuh) was given thousands of miracles to proove his prophet hood, his biggest miracle was the miracle of the Quran.

for people not to have embraced Islam after clear proofs, are bunch of irrational, illogical, nonsense, piece of craps, rubbish, dont know what more too say.

but most prophets or i think all were given miracles to proove their prophet, otherwise how will people know that he is a prophet? isn't this like trying to saying anyone could say they are a prophet? i agree that the main purpose of the prophets were to inform people about the creator and whats comes after death, and what people needs to do, etc. but again how would people know, if they are saying the truth or not? thats why God supports prophets with miracles, during Musa alaisalams time, the thing which people were fascinated by was magic, when Musa (pbuh) threw his stick in front of the magicians, the magicians knew what magic is and immediately realised, during prophet muhammed (pbuh) time people were deeply into poetry, when the quran was revealed, people realised that this is far superior to what they had, now its an age of science, this is what people are fascinated by, have you seen what scientists have to say about the scientific miracles of the Quran?

Do you know why nature is in a state of peace? observe nature, does it look tanquil, peace, harmony, but why?

Secondly these unusual acts can happen from Non Prophet persons also even non muslims.If these acts
Happen from Prophets = Mohjzaa
Happen from Walee = Karamat
Happen from a non muslim = Istidraaj.
