Brothers & Sisters look @ the link I have posted above to the UK McDonalds website it doesnt use the same as the american one sister posted.

all mcdonalds in the Muslim countries is halal too. :D so if ppl wanna eat it they can go ahead, only thing they need to watch out for is weight gain.

:sl:
You know, there are plenty of alternatives to maccy fries.

Like dixie chicken, maryland chicken, chicken cottage, various halal pizza/kebab shops and so on and so forth.

See, no need to panic.

:salamext:

Jazaak Allaah Khayr aamirsaab. That's what I am getting at, but people seem to prefer Doubtful/Haraam food over Halal :-\

you never know what is in your food, since your living in a non-muslim country....no offence everyone, I'm not saying that all non-muslim foods are bad...peace!

lets not follow our desiers, just because we like burgers or fries doesn't make It halaal!
what is haraam is haraam.

but if it says its halah or no meat used, its not ur falut for eating it if ti says its halah is it?

:sl: My friend's already warned me off of McDonalds, telling me that it's haraam and all, so I've stopped eating from there. Avoid all fastfood if possible, I usually just eat at Muslim/Somali restaurants when I get the chance.

Jazakallahum khair. :D

:salamext:

So brother ^^^, ur saying u have NO OTHER alternative to McDonalds where u live?!

I never know whether to trust these things. You get all sorts of text messages and saying different foods are haraam and you never know whether to trust them or not.

Peace

Beware of the milkshakes in McDonalds, a studENt in my class told me that they use chicken fat in them! Ugh!!!!!!!!!!! +o(+o(+o(:eek::eek:

Plus, she's a stict vegan and she knows these facts. I'll ask her to give me the website or book where she got it from.

Actually don't eat in there at all, becasue you cannot be sure what they serve is Halal or not for Muslims, so take the advice and evidence to not eat in those types of fast food restaurants

Peace to all

Okay, now that is just weird... why would they put chicken fat in a milkshake??

I think the problem is the name... its called natural beef flavour but then they say it contains milk and wheat (or something like that). Does that means that is ALL it contains and they call it beef for only God know what reason, or does it actually contain beef as well as the milk and wheat (which they might have to stipulate specifically in case of allergies or something)?

In other word- is it beef or what?
