People who have applied to Medicine, did you get any interviews yet? If so, how did they go?

Are you talking interviews for a residency or for med school?

:w:

Interviews are tough.

Amke sure you emphasise your love for Medicine, not the Monetary gain. They hate that.

I'm a 1st year med student but in my university it's different...they chose about a 100 students who had a 90/100 average and more in school then in university ur average has to be more than 70/100 or u fail...u start residency on ur 3rd year with no interiews cos only the best students are left. U don't get interviewed till the 7th year to chose which branch of medicine is best for u and many don't get selected and have to go to some other hospital...it's tough but that's the way it is!! So i have to syudy hard.

In Malaysia is like that too...

They choose the best students based on their academic results but still they are alot of students the competition is very high...

so some opted to do medical privately locally or in russia, india or indonesia.
