Most will pray Eid-al-Fitr at another day?

As-Salam Alaikum,

the most people in my area started to fast by not sighting the moon so one day earlier. That means that they will pray prayer for Eid-al-Fitr probably not by sighting the moon again - they will actually not do that. Will ask some masjids when they will pray prayer - but in the case that I will not be able to find a masjid, Am I excused? Am I right that there would be a probability that the end of ramadan will end on the same day?

they are following Saudi Arab ? In that case , go to ur neighbouring area if possible.
 
No they are not following Saudi. Most of them started to fast on 09th, they take their calculations as reference.
 
Did you start fasting with them? If so, pray with them. If not, wait until the moon is observed. If it turns out to be on Thursday, you will pray with them. If on Friday, try to find another masjid. If you find none, then you can pray alone. Otherwise, your Ramadan will not be complete and you will have to compensate for that last day. (I know that you can pray Salat-ul Eid alone according to the Shafi school, but I am not sure about the other schools.)

I myself started fasting on the 8th of June. It sounds more scientific and accurate to me. However, I can't say that the other opinion/s are wrong. It is a matter of 'ichtihad'. Also, I think it is the only way to make all the Islamic world unite on the matter. Anyway.
 
No I did not. I read it is a innovation to fast by calculated times so we have to sight the moon to decide when Ramadan starts. And the moon sight did not agree with their calculation so I decide to fast on day later. I know that the moon was sighted one day earlier in the US but in our longitude it was not. Do not know what is correct, I actually went by calculated times in the past, to not split. But these time I read that and it seemed for me more logical so would go way of salaf. Allahu Alem.

I do not know what is best for your situation since I do not possess the knowledge to give you the right answer, but regarding the moon sighting, it has to be seen by the naked eye to determine when Ramadaan starts/ends because that is what the Prophet :saws: did when it came to determining the start/end of Ramadaan and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet :saws: is what we should strive to follow.

The Prophet :saws: said: Whenever you sight the new moon (of the month of Ramadaan), observe the fast, and when you sight it (new moon of Shawwaal), break it. And if the sky is cloudy for you, then observe the fast for 30 days.

Yes Brother, exactly due to that hadith I did not start with all the other people. Sorry, seems that I was not able to explain that in prior post. Will see to find a masjid, insh Allah.
