Muslims’ Unfortunate Bragging Rights for Sex Searches! (Sex & the Muslim Ummah)

Re: Muslims’ Unfortunate Bragging Rights for Sex Searches! (Sex & the Muslim Ummah)

Greetings,
Islam has a very srtong approach to adultry and fornication....unfortunately some of the ignorant non-proper-practising Muslims are the ones in this database.

That's right - Islam's attitude to sex is very repressive, and the more forbidden you make something the more it will appeal to people. The demonisation of sex by mainstream religion is so counterproductive.

Peace

Actually that is not the case:the more forbidden you make something the more it will appeal to people
It is the media, the free pornogrophy on tv which is on advertisements,- be it for a car, a truck or a beer..... this is what led to the sad statistics we are seeing!

Learn some history and you'll find loads of examples proving that it's true.

No, it's actually people searching for porn on the internet that caused the statistics. I would have thought that would be obvious from reading the first post...

Hello! And what caused people to look at porn on the internet in the first place?

If alcohol was banned ( as it is in Islam), you would not have horny hooligans chasing women (and vice-versa).

If drugs were banned as they are in islam, you wont have to deal with stealing shooting, prostitution.

If Islam's laws were in place, itd be a perfect world!

Greetings,
Hello! And what caused people to look at porn on the internet in the first place?

Their biological urges, amplified by the forbidden nature of sex. People naturally want to have sex. If, for some reason, they are unable to find a real person to have sex with (whether that's because they simply aren't allowed to or they are just not successful at attracting a potential mate), the same biological urge will often lead them to seek out pornography, or even to commit sexual or violent crimes.

There is a direct correlation between how forbidden sex is in a society and the amount of illicit sex that will take place there:

In general, higher rates of belief in and worship of a creator correlate with higher rates of homicide, juvenile and early adult mortality, STD infection rates, teen pregnancy, and abortion in the prosperous democracies.

As one searches for an explanation for why so many priests have been exposed as child molesters recently, there is no indication that pornography or other manifestations of a permissive secular world pushed any of these men of God into their insanity.

Indeed the more plausible explanation is that they led a life too cloistered from the ordinary sources of adult sexual stimulation and satisfaction.

...the Catholic Church is replete with tales of decadence on the part of priests long before the allures of the silver screen, cable TV and the Internet.

I could link you to statistics that clearly show the opposite to be true, but I know the forum doesn't allow anti-Islamic links.

If drugs were banned as they are in islam, you wont have to deal with stealing shooting, prostitution.

Drugs are illegal in most Western countries, and those problems still exist. In fact, intelligent observers tend to think that it's because they are illegal that they become associated with crime. Take drugs out of the hands of criminals and crime could be cut in half overnight.

If Islam's laws were in place, itd be a perfect world!

I am certain that the world will never be under entirely Islamic law. Are there even any countries now that operate according to shariah?

Adults tend to act quite childishly; tell them they can't do something, and they'll want to do it, even if they never wanted to before and if doing it would be harmful to them or their development.

That's people for ya.
