Ok I'll handle the Hijab question :D

Non-Muslim girls get eyed up and judged for their looks. I like being judged for my personality not the way I look.

Hijab is a protection for women. they still get the pleasure of attention from their husbands and are safe in the knowledge that he'll always be there and wants her for who she is.

Can non-muslim girls say the same at uni?

Protection from what exactly? (Rapists?)

Yes they can. Well-to-do British girls can expect trust and loyalty from their partners. Single girls are free to flirt and have casual sexual relations as they see fit, however too much of this is frowned upon and likely to give them a reputation, but alas it is a perfectly natural and healthy way to enjoy yourself and find the right person.

Don't make unfounded assumptions! I do believe in politics, I just don't vote as of yet, and I respect Christianity but I do not believe in god hence I do not follow the religion. It is part of British culture, but you don't have to participate in everything to be a patriot.

These aren't unfounded assumptions, these are words from your posts.
Ok so if you don't have to participate in everything to be a patriot why does it matter if muslim girls wear hijabs? Surely they don't have to participate in every aspect of British Culture, right?

Sorry, but that is nothing but degradation. Degradation of men, women and society as a whole.

I see nothing fundamentally 'British' about such behaviour either. I see it as an alien form of behaviour thrust upon the masses through media and entertainment throughout the last century and the last 60 or so years especially. Go back to the 40's and the 50's and tell me how many women you see throw their bodies around between random men.

Well you are a westerner, so your casual and trivial attitudes towards relationships are rather unsurprising.

Incidentally the breakdown of relationships costs Britain roughly 30 billion a year.

I do not associate with anything called EDL so your assumptions are highly unfounded.

It is the culture that you identify with, I for instance with British, a wearer of a hijab is Muslim, and they have a very different culture coming by way of their religion. If you associate with British culture, you cannot be a Muslim, you would be Christian or an Atheist.

No I wasn't talking about the EDL assumption. Right so let me understand this. Apart of British Culture is Christianity which you don't follow because you don't have to follow every aspect of it (according to you) but you can be an atheist but not Muslim? But neither of those is apart of British Culture. So why is it ok to be atheist but not muslim according to you?

But it's not particularly historically British behaviour either is it? Something alien is thrown upon you and you don't challenge it, nor see it as an erosion of what British culture really stands for? Why the double standards?

Another problem Britain has. Please do not confuse the British culture I associate with with the current state of certain social classes of current Britain. As a cultural nation the majority as in quite despair. Something id feel passionate about reversing.

What about the guy who has his heart broken by the girl not being loyal? This does happen, but you recover and move on. You are not bound to stay with your first love your entire life, although you'd be lucky to find Mr/Ms Right. The belief is love after love :)
