My lack of a avatar

The story is really very sad....I really believe that I am a reasonably intelligent human being..I can read..write..even manage to get onto this site everyday...yet it pains me to admitt that I have no clue as to how to get an avatar..
I have lived avatarless for too long...my only desire is to pick some goofy picture to go alongside my screen name..
I am respectfully asking for assistance..:(:(
 
go to user CP - above in the left corner. under settings and options, click on edit avatar. you can upload a pic from there.
 
choose one good looking avatar and ask a mod to do it for you

you will find an option in ur user control panel. Click user CP in the tool bar below the site's logo :)

Nice avatars are ones which do not offend people, are produced using proper graphics applications and above all do not feature a picture of a sea turtle...
