I'd like to thank you all for your nice messages. At first, I felt like one of the Alcoholic Anonymous with my "My name is Nahla, I've been lurking for a while...". And instead of a cold and collective "Hello Nahla!!!" I got very warm and genuine messages. I'm really moved.

Thank you all my brothers and sisters.

Nahla

Well.......ahem.......uhhhhh........ I have no idea what Nahla really means. At least, I know it's not a bee. If anyone knows what Nahla means, please enlighten me :)

From Arabic:
Nahla is the feminine form of Nahl (or al-Nahal : النهل) which means the first drink (of water) that make your thirst go.
It's derived from the verb Nahala or Nahila (نهل) wich means to drink the first drink that make your thirst disappear.
It's a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning. :)

:sl:

welcome to the forum, sis nahla!

Are you from Boston btw? (your username "mystic river" somehow reminds me of boston because of the book/film with the same name)

Well, no, I'm not from Boston. I, indeed, liked Dennis Lahane's book "Mystic River". That river carries so much secrets, in some ways like me, sighs....

Anyway, thanks a lot for your kind welcom bro Naidamar.

Nahla
