dear brothers n sisters

i found that there are several ism mamnou' min as sarf:
feminin names, names contain ta marbuthah, contain alif and noon, foreign name and the name which is 'ala wazni al fi'li.

perhaps anyone here could explain to me what is the meaning of the last type.
'ala wazni al fi'li

salam

lets see what i remember :-[ *correct me if i'm wrong in anything:

words that are mamnoo3 min as-sarf are the ones that you can't add tanween to them, and when they're majroor, the i3raab is majroor bil fathah not kasrah

they are:

any word that:

1) ends with alif maqsurah like سلمى ، ليلى
2) ends with alif mamdoodah like صحراء علماء
3) proper nouns and feminine names
4) names that are not arabic like لندن وجورج
5) words that end with alif and nun like عدنان وغطفان وعثمان وعمران
6) if the word consists of three letters and the middle one is maftooh
7) if the word consists of three letters and the middle on is sakin
8) if the word is ala wazn fu3al (فُعَل) like عمر ، وزفر ، وزحل ، وقثم ، وقزح ، وهبل
9) sifah that is ala wazn أفعل like أحمر ، وأصفر ، وأبيض ، وأسود ، وأخضر ، وأفضل ، وأعرج ، وأعور

Wallahu A3lam

a'la wzn al-fia'l
it means that the name could also be a verb
like ahamd its a familiar name for men
but at the same time i can use it as a verb
i can say (ana ahmad allah a'la kol shya')
it means (i thank God for every thing)
the same thing for another names in arabic like :
yzeed \ tgh'leb
in short the name was copied from the verb

i hope you understand me

syukran, it's clear like the sun.
thanks for the additional types that i didn't notice.
but what are the meaning of maftooh and sakin.
is sakin same with sukun or tanween, or it's something different.
6) if the word consists of three letters and the middle one is maftooh
7) if the word consists of three letters and the middle on is sakin

no problem akhi :)

but what are the meaning of maftooh and sakin.
is sakin same with sukun or tanween, or it's something different.

maftooh comes from fatha: some basic times when a word is maftooh: when its maf3ool bihi or ism kana or khabar ina and a few others

and yeh sakin is when it has sukoon at the end

hope that helps

yah, i wish that could help me.
seems i still need more learn about fi'il and all that arabic terminology. my arabic doesnt reach that level yet. time to learn harder.
how ever syukran sister, jazakillah khair.
