I know that it has been ages since I posted in this board. I hope that every single brother and sister are doing fine. Sorry for not posting like before, my life became crazily busy.

Now I need your serious help in this:
I am trying to integrate a lesson for science for grade 2 teaching kids about animals movements like jumping, walking, swimming, crawling .....etc with my subject which is IT.

Now I am looking for a web application or maybe a game application that enable the students to move pictures of animals so they will know how they move....something like if the kid click on a fish picture it will start swimming.....etc

I need this before tomorrow evening please

:salam: sis and welcome back :)

Try this:

http://www.crickweb.co.uk/ks1science.html

Pick the second one down "Grouping Animals", then from there, choose "Sorting animals- how they move" it's not animated, but the kids have to click on the animal and drag it into the right box according to whether they fly, swim, walk or slither.

This website is free to join and download. I am not sure if this is of any help:

http://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/How-different-animals-move-6161210/

there are some games here but can't see any on movement:

Also try this site sis,

http://www.animationlibrary.com/c/1/Animals/

There are animations here of various animal movements, which you can download and save. Could you perhaps download one each for fish (swimming), birds (flying) etc, and save it as shortcuts on the kids' computers, then as you teach them, they click on the shortcuts and see the animation for each animal, so when they click on the one that says fish, they will see the fish swimming etc?
