Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I've been trying to be more consistent with my morning and evening adhkar, but I always lose count or get distracted halfway through. Sometimes I'm saying SubhanAllah and forget if I'm at 20 or 30.

Out of frustration, I ended up building a simple online counter that I can just open in my browser. It's helped me stay more consistent alhamdulillah, especially the focus mode where everything dims except the counter and a breathing reminder.

I'm curious about how do you brothers manage your daily dhikr? Do you prefer physical tasbih, apps, or just counting on your fingers?

Also, if anyone's interested in trying what I made or giving feedback on how to improve it, here it is MyTasbih

It's completely free, no ads, no sign-up, just wanted to make something beneficial and get honest feedback from the community about what would make it more useful.

JazakAllahu khairan!

Salamo alikum akhi,

I checked the website and thought it was nice mashallah, I like the UI. I am very old school so I prefer a practical sib-ha and honestly, I don't ever keep count. I know there is emphasis on making tasbih for a certain number but I just stay focused on my sib-ha. If I do not have my sib-ha then I am doing it on my fingers. I am not big on making tasbih through those electric ones that you tap with your button or even on the phone, to me, the ancient sib-ha does it's job well so I am content with it personally since I think it's a flawless invention haha.

JazakAllah khair!

Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh akhi,

JazakAllahu khairan for checking it out and the kind words! I completely understand, the traditional tasbih has stood the test of time for good reason. I built this mainly for those who don't always have one on hand, but alhamdulillah whatever keeps us consistent with dhikr is what matters most.

BarakAllahu feek for the honest feedback!

Well said akhi and also, for some reason I misread your line about people not having one on hand as a reference to those who may not have fingers to do the motion of the sib-ha, but can click on a mouse to mimic that motion, subhanAllah. I am not sure if that is deliberately part of the website too, but I just thought that with your website, it can also be for people who may be disabled, injured or incapable of using the precise fingering of tasbih! Perhaps you can even advertise it as that due to it's convenience, since I am sure it functions the same way when a person visits this website through the phone.

Wa feek, ya Rab :))
