I can't seem to upload a custom avatar, I've checked the faq, no joy. Can anyone provide a tip?

Such a warm welcome. I came here to learn and I've learnt something already: the muslims in this part of cyberspace are as welcoming and hospitable as they are in the parts of the muslim world I've visited.

Yeah, I looked at the defaults but none reflected my personality appropriately

Muslim lands I've visited: Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, South Thailand, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Emirates, Qatar and, of course, Londonistan. ;D

My favorite is definitely Afghanistan:thumbs_up

Next on the list are Syria & Morocco, I'd love to go to Iran soon too

Welcome to LI Scruffy. You seem to be a very likable person. Hopefully you will enjoy your stay. At the moment you do not have the option to use a custom avatar. That will change after you reach 50 posts and become a full member.

Perhaps we should have a stock avatar for our atheist members. I can not find any that would be appropriate. I wonder what one would look like.

50 posts scruffs use em wisely .. though I consider myself 'easy going'.. I don't take too kindly to Showing your contempt to religion by derision or even in the form of pasquinades!
Indeed those of us who have found our fingers to LI, can find our way to other cyber forums, where generally there is no shortage of false and malicious publication for the purpose of defaming Islam, in the beginning you attested to having respect for Islam and Muslims.. your posts I hope will reflect that!... Let's keep this forum a fortress please-- shall we?
