I wish I knew where I’m going, where I am headed
My life’s tired, wary, kind of shredded
Tired of fighting what life throws my way
Seeing black, white, and a bit of grey
I need a vision to see the colors again
I want to smile again, one that doesn’t veil any pain
I want my Iman back…and my smiling soul
I need a ladder to climb out of this hole
Have to be better than yesterday
Have to muster courage to fight what life throws my way
