So is Lesley Hazleton, and she gave a TED-X on "a Tourist reads the Qur'an" which is actually quite endearing for a Muslim to hear coming from an Agnostic Jewish lady.

It may give your husband some perspective in sha Allah, or at least introduce him to Islam from a position he also shares given the speaker is also agnostic Jew.
