Mutah was here in dubai about a couple of months ago, have known him since 2002 2003 and his wife is from out here as well so when ever he comes he visists me n my family and we hang out n take care of business if there is any , and he was just here ntold me how he was studying with fareed abdullah at masjid al mumin, but u might know better since ur there.
N bro i never really said musa richardson n lamhamee n hassan somali are in NY , i was reffering to events that they might attend if there are any in the near future , i am aware of them as well as abu khadeeja n abu hakeem n them.
Where is shadeed now a days ? i think mutah was telling me he is in saudi arabia got a job teaaching english i guess , Allah knows best.
As far as dawud adib goes n the situation u are talking about , first of all i dont know about it, n second i will not talk about it as i have seen hoe people get attcahed to people n create hizbs for their teachers n all , even though if their teacher is refuted with clear evidence n knowledge and even if scholars have refuted them people will come to u n say well i dont like Abu uwais rahimahullah coz he talked about abu usamah! subhnaAllah as if abu usamah was masoom, people are quick to take sides n start defending thier teachers n imams so no matter how much you try to explain it wont help them, this is the problem with hizbiyaah may Allah save us.
Bro people are not even willing to hear a word about amr khalid , aaidh al qarni or al oudah or any of those who have significant errors n mistakes nor will they take the speech of ulamah in regards to them even if saalih al luhian or other scholars refuted them sunhanAllah. may Allah save us from hizbiyaah.any way the slander of al jibaly , did u bro inquire , did u do ur research ? did u see if teh scholrs had said anything about him , did u see if what dawud adib said had any truth to it? or did u just call the man not trustworthy just coz he slandered al jibaly? peopel have told me wallahi that dont listen or promote abu uwais rahimahullah's stuff or recommed him coz he talked about abu usamah! is this the way brother? Is that a valid reason to leave abu uwais? n not just him any one involed with any one who has said any thing against bilal philips or abu usmah is to be abandoned? why coz they tried to correct the errors? is that their fault? subhanAllah!
Any way brother since u are in NY u might know better , i left the states back in 2005 so its been 5 years subhanAllah even though i keep an ear out i still miss a lot of stuff , i find it hard to believe that the masajid like masjid rahma or nur or others are dead, any way who are some of the students of knowledge n teachers there at the moment n whats the situation over there?
