No religious tolerance in Saudi Arabia??

what freedom for others to exercise their religion?

You know, that kind of statement could be applied to Muslims in Western countries who are unsatisfied that Sharia has not been implemented.

Not trying to start anything here, just observing.

The old saying 'When in Rome do as the Romans do' comes to mind. As long as everyone lives in peace, it's all good. :)

The kings of Saudi Arabia claims to follow the Quran and Sunnah, but rule through a monarchy. Insha'Allah the birthplace of Islam regains its status and honour soon.

You should know that wikipedia is not an encyclopeda written on the basis of formal research. Wikipedia is written by thousands of ignoramuses around the world and maybe a handful of intelligent knowledgeable people. I know because I used to try to work their as an editor, but everything that happens occurs on the basis of majority, so even though the non-muslim editors did not know as much about Islam as the Muslim editors, they prevented us from clarifying the truth and they injected their anti-islamic views into all their articles on Islam. Wikipedia has the worst articles on Islam, they're biased and they lack evidence. So you should not use it as a source.

That being said, on the issue of Saudi Arabia or any Muslim coutnry for that matter, it is agreed amongst Muslims that there is not a single country in the world that is fully implementing the Islamic system.

That being said, Muslims do reserve the right to preserve their Holy Sites and maintain the Islamic atmosphere there. The Holy Sites in Arabia can be thought of as a giant Masjid. If a non-muslim entered a Muslim masjid and said "I should have the right to celebrate Christmas in here!" the Muslims would most likely say, "Please, this is a Muslim place of worship that we would like to reserve exclusively for Muslim practices". In the same way, Saudi Arabia contains the Holy Land for Muslims, and we would like to reserve it exclusively for Muslim practices.

Asallama Alaikum yeah,there's not a country in the world that follows the Shariah fully(including Saudi Arabia).There's many things I've heard about Saudi Arabia like people were racist there,but there's not really hard core proof to support it.The same way for this article so I don't think we need to put this into mind.Wasallam.
