Awww.....

This reminded me of when my cat had kittens many years ago (they were the same colours as well!).
They are the cutest and most fun at this age......they would swing from the curtains and run after anything that moves! (You just have to be careful of their claws, as at this age, they usually dont realise when they should be retracted)

Unfortunately, this stage doesnt last long enough - adult cats are often not as playful or affectionate (unless its time for food!)

My cat is now almost 20 years old and has kidney failure, but she still doing quite well, alhamdulillah.
Shes part of the family : )

Shukran for sharing,

:wasalam:

Wow that's amazing, 20 years old! :) What colour is your cat?

Yeah.. I wish I could have one :(, ah... I'll just have to wait till I get my own house...

If only they remained little kittens :D

Heres a pic of Kitty (I know, its not the most original name, but she started out as a stray cat, and so the name just stuck :P )

If pets are looked after well, they can in shaa Allah, have very long lives.

At a recent visit to the Lion Park, we were told that the lions kept in captivity, live twice as long, if not more, as those in the wild.
Alhamdulillah.

Thanks for the video it was SO cute - I LOVEEEE animals

Something I've been wondering for quite some time (I don't know if I'm supposed to post this question here) > is it "haraam" to keep dogs? I wish I had a dog SO BAD but my family is like the angels of mercy don't visit houses where dogs live. Is that true? It sounds a little harsh I mean Allah made all the animals right. Yeah some are haraam to eat but not to keep are they? I haven't come across a Quranic reference that supports this until now.. I volunteer at the local animal shelter to play with dogs, that's how much I love them, I just wish I could have a "proper" pet at home too (not fish).
