MOM This is a translation of a Dhivehi Nasheed. I thought I'd share this with you all!
After the burden of carrying me for 9 months
Even with all the pain you were going through
You cared for me the best!
Strong and lovable......my mom!
When the world was fast asleep
Keeping me at your lap, staring at me with love!
Your heart got comforted whenever you saw me!
Without no sleep all day long!
You give me a bath and comb my hair
Clothed me with the best you could afford
Laid me gently on the small cute bed
Read my bedtime story and kisses me Good night!
So...When did you have a chance to rest?
Day and night at my service....
tired or not just for me!
O my caring and lovely mom!
Even though I write down all this here...
Never will the compliments come to an end!
Even If I say thankyou .... It wud never be enough!
You are my Queen whom I want to thank!
You were always careful I'd get hurt
Listened to my troubles.... forgiven my mistakes
Always at my side... supportive and Helpful!
You are the best in the world!... my mom!
You'll never want me to get burned up!
You were careful that I might play with fire
So the same would happen If I go to Hell!
I beg you mom! Help me to grow up among the righteous!
I'll never be successful in this life or the other,
If I haven't pleased you....mom!
For any act I did or any word I said,
I cry for your forgivness...O mom! You are best!
