I am currently working with couple of brothers on Internet Islamic Radio:
* It will have recitations, nasheed, lectures and ONLY stuff relating to Islam. You will NOT need to talk via mike or anything :)

But i need more ppl in for operation to be effective....we have worked out the technical system and softwares required and all that, so u wont need to perform any complicated task :thumbs_up

if u have large collection of islamic audios or have a fast internet/computer then thats really great

first, let me know if u r interested at all or think its a good idea

It is good idea brother. I am not able to help..inshallah the brothers and sisters here might be able to help if they can. May Allah reward you. I really need somewhere to listen all the Islamic lectures without hearing music.

How to use it
To access the radio, all you need is Winamp player or similar media player and internet.
First of all go to http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/?s=towardsislam and if the radio is on, you will see an item called [Islam] TowardsIslam.

Click on Tune In, and Winamps or suitable player will launch with the radio.

NOTE: If the radio is off http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/?s=towardsislam will simply result in "Unfortunately, there weren't any SHOUTcast streams found containing the term towardsislam" message.

Note: You might experience difficulties if you have Winamp player version 3.0 we suggest you either use updated version of Winamp or use different media player such as RealPlayer
