The filename of the image says imaginaryhiddentriangles so, I am reckoning that there are imaginary triangles. And there are 8 visible hexagons and each hexagon can have 6 acute angled triangles so there must be 48 triangles in total :embarrass:embarrass:embarrass:embarrass:embarrass:embarrass:embarrass

In that case, the figures you mentioned (in red here) cannot be termed as triangles, they are arcs. Although the three huge white and the colored triangles between them make 6 triangles :statisfie
