Does anybody know about a good Islamic forum that is for Muslims only? I'm tired of seeing infidels posting and giving their advice...

wassalam

I don't know of any other Muslim forums, but I am sure others can help you in your quest.

However, this board aims to inform people about Islam and its teachings. It is aimed at Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Indeed, many non-Muslims come here to learn about Islam and understand Muslims better.
Some revert to Islam as a result - much to the delight of the Ummah.
Others don't revert, but still end up learning about Islam - even the most challenging and argumentative 'infidels' end up with a better understanding about Islam than they had previously.

Consequently I conclude that this board meets its objective very well! :)

^^Wa Alaikum Asalaam

I've come across a few Islamic forums.. can't remember their names exactly. But this one is by far the best! I like the idea that Muslims and non-Muslims can educate each other, debate each other, and learn more about Islam in the process.

Non-Muslims are allowed but they are very strict and as of yet have no non-muslim members I dont think. Its a small forum though, very peaceful [almost sleepy :p]

Uh, the non-Muslims that post on Islamic forums are usually well-educated and tolerant. Stupid bigots either don't want to learn and don't join or make single troll posts and then leave or get banned.

Plus, the non-Muslims don't actually seem to post much outside comparative religion and world affairs, both of which exist for the purpose of discussion between different viewpoints.

I had a quick peek at your link.
Interesting what goes on in the 'Comparative Religions' section when there are no non-Muslims to counter-balance the false perceptions and misunderstandings presented about their faiths ... :rollseyes

Why are you tired of the non-muslims in this forum?Weren't there non-muslims living in Madina in Prophets(pbuh) time?Did he seek somewhere without non-muslims to live?

:sl:
Muslim zone is a small forum which consists almost 95% Muslims but there can be non Muslims I don't see them post, and I'm a moderator there so I should know.

I enjoy having the non-Muslims on this forum because they provide a different perspective and insight that we wouldn't normally get if we just limited it to members of our own faith. We are able to reach out to people of all faiths here and share our perspectives, and they share theirs. It's a chance for dawah and a chance to learn about other religions. The more you know about someone's religion, the easier it becomes to deliver the message of Islam.

Plus, if we didn't have non-Muslims to argue with, we'd just end up arguing amongst ourselves, which is a cause for disunity amongst the Ummah.

+1 to that. This is a pretty active and open forum that is always moderated. I think its important that non-muslims and muslims get a chance to interact with each other. We all get to learn something. I like to sit back and just read the debates that go on especially when someone says something negative. It usually gets responded to rather quickly

Care2.com has a number of very private Islamic forums. If you go to care2 and search the religious forums look for the Islamic ones and from there find the ones marked private. You will have to email the forum owner and request an invitation to get in.

There are many 100% Islamic forums on the internet, many are sincere and are of value for gaining in depth knowledge about Islam.

There are very few Islamic forums which welcome non-Muslims as members. One of the goals for having a mixed forum is too clear up misconceptions about us.

Much hatred directed against us comes from misinformation. One of our goals is to remove as many misconceptions as possible. Many non-Muslims do not know the difference between Arab and Muslim, they assume both mean the same thing. Even then they have many misconceptions of what an Arab is.
This world is full of erroneous thoughts the only way to remove erroneous beliefs about each other is to share dialog. Dialog is a two way street, to tell a person about your thoughts you have to allow them time to tell about theirs.

Hopefully LI is doing at least a small part in removing false ideas about Islam by allowing this exchange of dialog.

This LI Islamic Forum is THE BEST FORUM ever. Period.

I've been in so many forums before (both local and international), but this forum is the forum which I stayed the longest period of all and currently this forum is the only forum that I am still active.

JazakAllah!!!
