I’m a non-Muslim. I know the Quran honors Moses. Why it never says what the Jews interpret the Bible through the lens of the Talmud you’re an Israelite if your mom is one and if your mom isn’t but your dad is, you don’t have your Israelite status passed on and it’s not the father’s child and you’re cursed? They say the way around it is the mom converts to Judaism because she will be an Israelite(and “reincarnated into one too” which doesn’t make sense). They believe their prophets believed this, including Moses. What does Islam say about this and children being cursed just because their father was only an Israelite? Judaism says there is no original sin in their religion but there are exceptions to the rule as indicated above.
 
In Islam, all the prophets from Adam to Muhammad (peace be upon them) were Muslim. None of them were Jewish or Christian by what you know today as Judaism or Christianity. They all preached the oneness of Allah and were there to guide people on the correct path, and through deviancy the people created their own religions. Christians for example, worshipped Christ, whereas Jews rejected Jesus's message and tried to kill him (in Islam, Jesus is not dead).

The idea of Original Sin does not exist in Islam. Each person is responsible for his own sins. You can't bear the sins of someone else. How can a baby who is innocent be born sinful while he has committed no crimes? That would be unjust. Also your sins are not accounted for until you are aware that you are making bad choices. For example if a 5 year old lies, he is not accounted for because he doesn't fully understand that what he's doing is wrong. That's the mercy of Allah.

Okay, I get it. This doesn’t contract the Quran when it says Jew means Bani Israel in the sense of not following Judaism.
 
I don't know what Talmud is, but in the Qur'an, Allah mentioned Taurat (Torah). So if it's different from Torah, and followers of Judaism use it, then they are not using what Allah has revealed to Bani Israil through Musa 'alayhi salaam.
So they are not following Musa 'alayhi salaam (Moses).

Allah has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And Allah revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (Ali 'Imran 3)

Like said, Thorah is given to Moses as as the Holy Book, and the Thorah nowadays still contains some truth. The Talmud however, is a completely man made and is therefore completely invalid.
about original sin...we do not believe in that.

Adam as did not sin. He made a mistake, repented immediately and got forgiven. His destiny to Earth was already planned long before He was created whether he ate from that apple or not.
Therefore, we do not have this original sin. Every person is born as muslim and totally sin free.

Ok, Judaism does contradict Christianity a lot be they don’t believe in original sin with some exceptions. That doesn’t make sense. When Islam says the Jews killed their prophets and they are cursed, how can they if you don’t believe in original sin yourself?

Original sin is about Adam as eating from the forbidden tree. Jews being cursed is something else.
They CHOOSE to be Jews...so there is no original sin here. again, every child is born as a muslim...when a child grows up and he decides to follow his parents jewish religion, then yes he is cursed. But that is his choice...it is not an original sin.

What exactly is meant by being cursed I do not know exactly. That is a concept where I still have some small question marks in my head.
But now that you remembered me about that, I will start a thread about that. Lets see what others can advise me.

Slowly I am getting this impression that you are not really interested in the answers to your questions but you are trying to corner me with tricky questions.
Why am I getting this impression? because you suddenly seems totally uninterested in the question you just asked about this original sin and you focussed on being cursed the second you read that I didn't know exactly what it meant.

Do you even understand this last question yourself?

I do understand my last question. No I’m not trying to corner you. I am truly confused with religions to the point I have real misunderstandings from time to time even after reading something because comes off for me as contractions. I don’t mean for you to feel this way.

I cannot grasp the concept of being cursed in Islam yet.
the questions I struggle with is
what is the Islamic definition of being cursed?
what happens to a person who is cursed?
how is being cursed different than just sinning?
and can the curse be lifted if one repents or are you stuck to it?

I can look this up and you too. Since people interpret Islam differently, it can be confusing for me to know what is what if you know what I mean.
