Great reminder! There is one dua that Allah never will refuse - and that is the dua for guidance. You may ask for a car, cure for sickness or a beatiful spouse. And Allah :swt: maybe won't give u it, but rather prevent a calamity or save it and give u better in the Akhira AFAIK. But guidance - Allah will never deny the one who asks.
