Our children are our future,
of that there is no doubt.
But, are our children being taught what Islam is all about?
They are running around with no hijab or modesty.
Please think about this and be true to yourself with all honesty.
Does our love of the dunya outweigh our love for Allah?
If this is true, we are truly with flaw!
Look at our children,
watch how they act.
If we try to teach or to correct them,
how do they react?
Are they pious and sweet,
as our children should be?
Or do they say with their eyes,
'Get away from me!' ?
Our children are lost.
This causes me pain and despair.
We have no one to blame but ourselves,
if we truly be honest and fair.
We need to reunite with Allah, with our deen.
We need to practice Islam and teach Islam
as it should be taught and seen.
Our children are our future,

So let us teach them what Islam is truly all about.
