Asalama Alaikum........:X

I have started this thread because I wanna know more about "Xaqul Waalidayn"(Parent's right) in Islam whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims..:?
Should a person treat his/her non-muslim parent the way he/she treats his/her Muslim parent??:?
Should a person love both his/her parents(muslim and non-muslim) the same way or should he/she love one more than the other??:?

Should a person keep his relationship with his/her parent after converting from Islam to another religion??:thankyou:

Come on guys this is important....;D or are you as ignorant from the subject as I am ;D ;D:giggling: which i don't think so;D

You are still allowed the same relationship with your parents If they are Muslim or not. They Took care of you you're whole life. I converted and I Still go to my mom's house all the time and talk to her everyday. Just you cannot go to celebrate any holidays like Easter or Christmas. But once you canvert the relationship with your family doesn't change.

yesh even if ur mummy is a non muslim u hav 2 respect em, cos we know that Hadhrat Asma (ra) her mum was a non believer & she asked the same Q, that should i treat her differently or not and the Prophet (saw) said to her that she has to respect her mum no matter what!!! :D:D:D:D
