I a not sure whether this is me, but we are not supposed to be so much into "pictures" of our scholars, are we ???

Like in the case of Christians and so many other religions they would die for having pics of their priests and rabbis. But is ther basis for this in Islam ?

Of course i am not saying i do not like the scholars mentioned, but perhaps we could cut down (a bit) on the hoopla ?

I'D LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS THE MASJID SHAYKH MUHAISANY IS IMAAM OF OR THE MASJID HE USUALLY LEADS THE PRAYERS. iNSHALLAH, I WANT TO VISIT ANY MASJID HE IS IMAAM OF, THATS MY FAVORITE RECITER.
PLS IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME INFO

asalamu alaikum......sheikh Muhaisany was arrested after he made a dua during ramadan.....

there is the link of the video.....not sure if its the same one your talking about but there is only one imam i know known as Muhaisany and he recites beautiful...but now he is probz in cuba or something....asalamu alikum wr wb

oh no hes not in cuba, hes in makkah, owner of a some hotel development business and leads in a masjid in azizia. he never led in masjid al haram like that video claims
