pls advice on ramadan for the sick

asalam alaikum brothdrs n sisters.i just want to seek for advice on the issue of ramadan.my brother just had a surgery few days b4 the commencement of the ramadan and have been on frugs so he can't fast 4d next 2months now.so what is recomeended dat he should do or does ghe have to pay the whole 30 after recvering.thanks maa"salam
 
Regarding to your brother's condition, he can leave his ramadhan fasting and pay with fasting in another month. If he leaves fasting in 14 days he should pay 14 days, if he leaves 20 days he should pay 20 days. He doesn't need to pay with 30 days fasting except if he leaves fasting in all ramadhan days.
