plz read need advise and teachings

:cry: Salam I don’t know where to begin ………well I’m a slow learner, gave me anything to learn and it will take me ages. I’m aged 18 and still don’t know how to pray probably, I can’t even say the words probably. I know what you must be thinking I must be the dumbest girl you seen right. I have tried to learn but I never have time to learn the words so much to do helping out my mother, Alevel studies. I was lucky to do A level’s, I failed my GCSE first time then I retook. My family think Im dumb, even the way I speak tells it all. I can’t even remember the past Quran I have learnt. I might be dyslexia but not sure. I need help on how to pray. Please teach me in simple steps. I dont want to ask my family or freinds because my family thinks I know how to pray but I'm embrassed to tell them the truth and also they may freak out cos im 18.

Sis would you like to learn how to recite the surah's or the method of prayer?


Also dont worry, a lot of people learn far later then you. may Allah grant you jannah

awww my dear sis.. you know I felt so much love for you when I was reading your post. I felt like giving you one BIG hug right there & then! You sound so humble mashaAllah.

I hope you find the links brothers fi & abdul gave. You can also buy some great salah (namaz) books from any islamic bookshop. They are really easy and you don't have to be logged in every time you want to check something.

Your not dumb, the only people who like to call other dumb are the ones that are insecure about themselves. Alhumdulillah Allah swt has given us the ability to learn and understand. It's all a effort sis, if you're determined you can achieve whatever you want as long as you dont let the haters get to you. People will always try to put you down. Islam will help you with all of your problems and you've already showed how you are better then many other by the intention to learn.
