poem

Below is a must read poem for all fellow
Muslims. O Readers!! take a moral from this poem, Because you never know when
it's your time to go.
OPERATION DEATH

’Twas early in the morning at four. When death knocked upon a bedroom door.
”Who is there?” the sleeping one cried. ”I’m Izrael, let me inside.”

At once, the man began to shiver, as one sweating in deadly fever,
he shouted to his sleeping wife, ”Don’t let him take away my life.”

”Please go away, O Angel of Death! Leave me alone, I’m not ready yet.
My family on me depend, give me a chance, O please prepense!”

The Angel knocked again and again, ”Friend! I’ll take your life without a pain,
’Tis your soul Allah require, I come not with my own desire.

Bewildered, the man began to cry, ”O Angel! I’m so afraid to die
I’ll give you gold and be your slave, don’t send me to the unlit grave.”

”Let me in, O Friend!” the Angel said, ”Open the door, get up from your bed.
If you do not allow me in,I will walk through it, like a Jinn.”

The man held a gun in his right hand, ready to defy the Angel’s stand,
”I’ll point my gun, towards your head. You dare come in, I’ll shoot you dead.”

By now, the Angel was in the room, Saying, “O Friend! prepare for your doom.
Foolish man, Angels never die, Put down your gun and do not sigh.”

”Why are you afraid! Tell me O man, to die according to Allah’s plan?
>Come, smile at me, do not be grim, be happy to return to Him.”
”O Angel! I bow my head in shame, I had no time to take Allah’s name.

From morn till dusk I made my wealth, not even caring for my health.”
”Allah’s commands I never obeyed nor five times a day I ever prayed.
A Ramadan came and Ramadan went but no time had I to repent.”

”The Haj was already fard on me But I would not part with my money. All
charities I did ignore taking usury more and more.”

”Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine with flirting women I sat to dine. O
Angel! I appeal to you spare my life for a year or two.”

”The Laws of Qur’an I will obey, I’ll begin Salat this very day. My Fast
and Haj, I will complete, and keep away from self conceit.”

”I will refrain from usury, and give all my wealth to charity, wine and
wenches I will detest, Allah’s oneness I will attest.”

”We Angels do what Allah demands, we cannot go against His commands
Death is ordained for everyone, father, mother, daughter or son.”
”I’m afraid, this moment is your last, now be reminded, of your past.
>I do understand your fears but it is now too late for tears.”

”You lived in this world, two score and more, Never did you, your people
adore. Your parents, you did not obey, hungry beggars, you turned away.”

”Your two ill-gotten, female offsprings, in night-clubs, for livelihood
they sing. Instead of making more Muslims, you made your children
non-Muslims.”

”You ignored the Mu’athin’s Athaan, nor did you read the Holy Qur’an.
Breaking promises all your life, backbiting friends, and causing strife.”

”From hoarded goods, great profits you made, and your poor workers, you
underpaid. Horses and cards were your leisure, money-making was your
pleasure.”

”You ate vitamins and grew more fat, with the very sick, you never sat. A
pint of blood you never gave, which could a little baby save.”

”O human, you have done enough wrong, you bought good properties for a
song. When the farmers appealed to you, you did not have mercy, ‘tis >true.”

”Paradise for you? I cannot tell, undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.
There’s no time for you to repent, I’ll take your soul for which I’m sent.”

The ending, however, is very sad. Eventually the man became mad.
With a cry, he jumped out of bed. And suddenly, he fell down dead.

O Reader! take a moral from here, you never know, your end may be near.
Change your living and make amends, for heaven, on your deeds depends.

The Tears Never did Stop
by Shazah Sabuhi
This Poem is about Masjid Ul'Haram where Muslims travel to from around the world to perform Hajj and Umrha. It is the largest mosque in the world, in the centre of which is the Holy Kaba. Masjid Ul' Haram is...what can I say....simply beyond words. I have seen many pictures of it but when I first saw it with my own eyes in Dec, 96 the first thought to run thru' my mind was, 'No photograph does this place justice.' It is so beautiful...glittering marble, chandeliers....the throngs of worshippers. It was love at first sight...there are no words to describe its charm, beauty and appeal adequately. Seeing is believing.

I set my foot inside the Holy Mosque,
Upon the cold, white marble, Where day and night, People
sat worshipping, praying,
The tears never did stop.
Right and left, the Mosque being cleaned,
Shining, not a particle of dust, The carvings of marble, the plates of gold,
The symmetry of the whole Mosque, the largest of it all,
The tears never did stop.
Then came the grandest of the whole,
The center of one's life and concerns, The big, Beautiful House of Allah,
Covered with black cloth and gold leaf writing,
The tears never did stop.
My life flashed past me, the good and the bad,
such a feeling I had never felt before,
A special bondage to the Almighty-A sudden chill in me,
The tears never did stop.
Looking around, the large floor was filled with people,
Circling the beautiful house, loudly chanting,
People sitting, praying for forgiveness,
Praying for another chance to lead a better life,
The tears never did stop.
Taking a deep breath, I entered the never ending crowd,
With my heart pouring out all the prayers I could think of,
Begging for forgiveness of my sins,
Praying to become a better individual
The tears never did stop.
I ran around the black house,
The ancient, black house built by Ibrahim centuries ago,
Where not one second passes when people are not circling it, praying,
The tears never did stop.
I got closer as did my heart, mind and soul,
I touched the sacred house, hands trembling,
Knowing I was as close as ever to the Almighty,
The tears never did stop.
It was amazing, everyone centered their attention only on worshipping
All worldly concerns forgotten, focused on praying,
Forgetting everyday matters and happenings,
The tears never did stop.
The rituals were tiring, took strength and time,
But what is a few hours for our Giver? Our Creator?
For what He has given us, the worldly goods, the luxuries,
A few hours of forgiveness for our sins,
The tears never did stop.

O You Who Believe
by Abu Sulayman

Speak kind to the people ,enjoin what is good and forbid evil

Perform your daily salat and give alms, and say nothing but the truth about Muhammad alaihis salam.

How could you insist upon sin and transgression, after Allah gave you Islam continuously bestowing blessings.

I'm thinking akhira is priceless and the dunya is lowly , while im performing 2 sunna rakat ..very slowly

Only for the face of Allah I submit to the truth , prostrating , broke in poverty , im destitute.

Now Al-Quodoos is free from all imperfections , I call upon Al-Muhaymin for my protection.

The kuffar wish they could liva a thousand years too, they disbelieve ,and Allah sees everything we do.

Everyday the situation gets more sticky, as they follow shaitan and his magic and trickery.

Now which one of the blessings from your Lord will you deny, and where could you find a refuge from Allah where you could hide?

the fact is refuge is only with the Creator, Al-khalic, the most merciful, the originator.

the one who knows the innermost secrets in the chests, possessor or majesty and benevolence

The Light of Submission

by izzi 786

To know and recognize the truth, is in itself a blessing and a proof of guidance. But we must be careful not to attritube any power to ourselves as we are only its carriers.

I walk along a sandy beach
The sound of the sea fills my ears
The sun strains through the grayness of the sky
The sand feels warm beneath my feet
I shiver from the coolness of the wind

I found a golden shell some years ago
I recognized its beauty
And held it tight
It stayed with me o'er rocks and sand
Storm and calm
Only once I dropped it
But quickly picked it up again

Now it’s part of me
Its golden rays shine from within
Its light reaching out to others
Through my submission
If ever I think its beauty belongs to me
I may lose it forever
For I am only a carrier of its light

poem

In Allah's name

Everything in and around us - everything that exists which we don't know about - all belongs to Allah, the Creator of all. Everything we do therefore, should be in His name.

In the name of Allah we are born
In His name we live
and in His name we die

Our shadows prostrate to their Creator morning and evening
without our consent
Birds and animals usher in the times of prayer

Birds circumambulate the Ka'ba
while migrating birds stretch forth their wings
finding their way by Allah's Mercy

Only to feel unrest and leave once more
ever-searching, traveling discontent until they die

We, also wander
some blindly
while others see

Blessed Test

I woke up this morning and knew that today,
the sun would not be shining and the clouds would be gray.
As I stepped outside, rain fell upon my head.
My car wouldn't start so I walked to school instead.

I forgot all of my assignments; I failed all of my tests.
I dropped my head in disgust and asked the Lord for one request.
Lord, why is it that things won't go my way?
He gently replied, "Dear one it is because you didn't
thank me yesterday.

I woke you up and enabled you to see the sun again.
I gave you shelter, protected your family,
and even let you make a new friend.
I blessed you far greater than I ever had before.
But you were too busy to thank me once more.

You didn't feel sick because I maintained your health.
You had money in your pocket because I maintained your wealth.
You had shoes on you feet and clothes to wear, too.
You had plenty of food to eat, and what did you do?

You ignored me and went about your tasks.
But when you wanted something you never hesitated to ask.
I was there when you needed me, and that wasn't too long ago.
But when things started going your way,
it was me you did not know.

As if that weren't enough, I provided your favorite luxuries.
This was something I didn't have to do-they
weren't even necessities.
And when it was time to get on your knees and
show your gratitude,
You decided that after such a fulfilling day,
you weren't in the mood.

So I decided to give you just a little test.
To show you how it would feel to stop being blessed."
I began to realize what the Lord was saying.
And when I got home, I fell to my knees and started praying.

He said, "You have learned and you know I do forgive.
But remember to remember this day as long as you shall live.
I love filling your life with joy, and your pain I'll alleviate it.
But just a simple thank you would show how much
you appreciate it."

Allah’s Gift

Some embrace it with all heart and soul
Because its knowledge is wisdom
And it endures like gold,

There are some who may take it
As a title to wear
Not recognizing the righteousness
And the responsibility it bears,

Some are afraid of its discipline and truth
Because it goes against some
Of the teaching of their youth,

Its revelation happens to be a true way of life
And if strictly followed will keep you
On the straight and away from strife,

To praise one God letting His be done
But knowing that there is no compromise
Is frightening to some,

It has had many Prophets and Messengers to date
Who have battled criticism, poverty, racism and hate,

Through these trials Muslims strive on
Knowing Allah leads us strong
Allah never leads us wrong.

poem

Allah

I tried to find Him on the Christian cross, but He
was not there; I went to the Temple of the
Hindus and to the old pagodas, but I could not
find a trace of Him anywhere.
I searched on the mountains and in the valleys
but neither in the heights nor in the depths was I
able to find Him. I went to the Ka'bah in Mecca,
but He was not there either.
I questioned the scholars and philosophers but
He was beyond their understanding.
I then looked into my heart and it was there
where He dwelled that I saw Him; He was
nowhere else to be found.

poem

An Ocean without Shore

I marveled at an Ocean without shore,
and at a Shore that did not have an ocean;
And at a Morning Light without darkness,
and at a Night that was without daybreak;
And then a Sphere with no locality
known to either fool or learned scholar;
And at an azure Dome raised over the earth,
circulating 'round its center -- Compulsion;
And at a rich Earth without o'er-arching vault
and no specific location, the Secret concealed . . . .

I courted a Secret which existence did not alter;
for it was asked of me: "Has Thought enchanted you?"
-- To which I replied: "I have no power over that;
I counsel you: Be patient with it while you live.
But, truly, if Thought becomes established
in my mind, the embers kindle into flame,
And everything is given up to fire
the like of which was never seen before!"
And it was said to me: "He does not pluck a flower
who calls himself with courtesy 'Freeborn'."
"He who woos the belle femme in her boudoir, love-beguiled,
will never deem the bridal-price too high!"

I gave her the dower and was given her in marriage
throughout the night until the break of Dawn --
But other than Myself I did not find. -- Rather,
that One whom I married -- may his affair be known:
For added to the Sun's measure of light
are the radiant New Moon and shining Stars;
Like Time, dispraised - though the Prophet (Blessings on him!)
had once declared of your Lord that He is Time.

Ya Muslimeen Dont be afraid

The Muslims today are in a weakened state,

What we need to do is ask why,

Our beloved Prophet and his Companians spread the Deen of Al Islam near & far,

What gave these brave men and women their drive?

Look at ourselves and think how cowardice we are,

Our men stay behind on the land of the enemies of Allah,

Our women are content with this,

Ya Muslimeen our children, o our children, they resemble our enemies more and more each day,

They resemble those who make partners with Allah,

Those who take on the attributes of Allah,

Ya Rubbi,

Ya Kariim,

My beloved brothers and sisters,

Be patient in serving Allah,

Our reward is not for this life but the next,

'and certainly we shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits but give glad tiding to AsSabiroon' 2:155

Ya Muslimeen run back towards Jannah,

Run away from the fire of hell,

Ya Muslimeen come forward and submit to Allah's laws and commands,

Don’t fear the disbelievers,

For your life is with Allah,

To Hime you belong and to Him is your return,

ALLAHU AKBAR!

Ya Muslimeen,

Be kind and have love,

Be loyal to one another,

Love for Allah's sake is a love that surpasses all love,

Surpasses all love based upon nationalism, tribe or race,

Islam came to rid mankind of this,

ALLAHU AKBAR!

Ya Muslimeen let us work together,

Aim for our own homeland,

Where Allah's laws and commands will reign supreme,

Ya Muslimeen unite upon our eman,

My heart sheds tears because of our division,

The shayton's plan,

Ya Muslimeen, unite upon our kalimat of 'la ilaha ilallah',

According to our Prophet, Mohamed ArRasolollah

Trust Him

assalam o alakum
Trust Him and He won't let you down.M.
Trust Him

When God takes something
away frm ur grasp,
He is not punishing you.

But He is merely
emptying your hands,
for you to receive
something better

poem

A blessed month is casting its shadow upon us
A night of this month is better than a thousand months
Bear with patience for the sake of Ar-Rahman
It’s a continuous training to strengthen our Imaan.

Glory be to Allah who sent Ramadan as a mercy to mankind
Its a purification of our soul, our heart, and our mind
With the most sincere devotion and love we fast
To be cleansed and free from sins of the past

Glorified is He, who choseth this holy month,
To test our sabr and fill our hearts with warmth
Of his Divine Light, His blessings shall glow,
The Seer of the unseen, all He does know

Ya Allah! For thee, let my breath be more pleasant than musk
Ya Allah! For thee, let me be thankful when day turns to dusk
My thoughts and heart are purified, my eyes truly see…
This blessed month, the month of spiritual rhapsody!

Ya Allah! For thee, my life I shall live!
Ya Allah! For thee, my soul I shall give!
In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Kind,
Praise be to Allah, who sent Ramadan as a gift to mankind

Two Voices Inside Me

Two Voices Inside Me
Contributed by Anfaal

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

As I walked to my bedside

A voice gently said: wake up for fajr and glorify your Lord.

I set my alarm for fajr and then went to sleep.

A few minutes passed, then the alarm went off.

I awoke and remembered my fajr

and to glorify my Lord

But then a voice whispered:

sleep! Sleep! The night is long

I lay in my bed, listening to the two voices

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

As I went to the masjid I prayed two rakaa's

After the masjid I would buy a gold set

I looked in my poket, I found twenty-pounds

Oh no! I though I'm six-pounds short

I looked around and noticed a box,

it was labelled `charity box'

A voice strongly whispered:

take the six-pounds from the charity box!

No-one will notice

Another voice gently said:

Allaah is watching you from above,

leave the gold set- it's a worldly thing,

give the twenty-pounds in charity instead,

you're reward is with Allaah in the next abode.

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

I had tidied the kitchen, and finished my homework

I sat on the settee with nothing to do, my free-time had come

What could I do?

A voice slowly whispered:

watch the TV everyone's watching it, you're left out.

Another voice gently said:

read the Qur'an, you'll earn some reward,

leave the TV, it's a waste of time, you see it's a worldly thing.

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

At the end of the day before going to sleep

I asked myself: what did I do today?

I woke up for fajr and glorified my Lord

I went to the masjid and gave some charity

I read the Qur'an and didn't waste my time

I kept away from the worldly things

I learnt that inside me I had two voices, I

learnt what was the difference from the two.

One always whispered to me evil things-

and that was the whisperings of the shaytaan

The other voice always gently spoke- and that was

the Angel reminding me to do good

All praise be to Allaah, I chose the voice of the Angel

All praise be to Allaah, it made me happy

All praise be to Allaah I had beaten shaytaan

All praise be to Allaah I had been guided

May Allaah guide me and guide you,

and help us to choose the right path,

and to forbid the evil whisperings of the shaytaan.

Lets We Prepare for Tomorrow Before it Late.

WHAT IS ISLAM?
Islam is a way of life, try it.
Islam is a gift, accept it.
Islam is a journey, complete it.
Islam is a struggle, fight for it.
Islam is a goal, achieve it.
Islam is an opportunity, take it.
Islam is not for sinners, overcome it.
Islam is not a game, don't play with it.
Islam is not a mystery, behold it.
Islam is not for cowards, face it.
Islam is not for the dead, live it.
Islam is a promise, fulfill it.
Islam is a duty, perform it.
Islam is a treasure (the Prayer), pray it.
Islam is a beautiful way of life, see it.
Islam has a message for you, hear it.
Islam is love , love it.

Let Us Thank ALLAH-------!!

Let Us Thank ALLAH-------!!

Let us thank ALLAH,
For the things taht we have,
For the caring people around us,
For the friends that we have,For the Paryers that are heard,
For the prayers that are not,
For the wishes which are fulfilled,For the wishes that are not.For He knwos what should be given,Ane what should be notHe is aware of evrything.Surely, we are not.
Some lovely things are lost,
Some lovely people are gone,
Some dreams are broken, shattered
And sometime we're left alone.
All of them are countable,
All of them are few.
His blessings neither countable,
Nor are they few,
So, why shouldn't we thank HIM?
He is kind and merciful.

The Saviour Of Humanity

THE SAVIOUR OF HUMANITY

In the dark streets of a cityWhere people lived the life of a pity
In the huge black pole
Where only big fishes had rule
In the dark era of evil
Where people had no gud will
There came - the Prophet(P.B.U.H)
There came such a nice person
Who gave brotherhood's vision
There came such a great man
Due to whome equality began
His mother named him Ahmed
His father named him Muhammad
His people called him honest
They also called him truthful
His god made him friend
He changed the old trends
All the difficulties can be solved
If his ways are invovled
Our glory is possible
If his methods are made feasible
And hence will be our salvation
And, wee'll all go to heaven.

INSHALLAH

Hijab

Hijab
dont know who wrote it..but I liked it

U Look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way i'm dressed

U know me not for what is inside,
U judge the clothing I wear with pride

My body is not for ur eyes 2 hold,
U must speak 2 my mind not my feminine mould

I am an individual I'm no man's slave,
It's Allah's pleasure that I only crave

I have a voice so will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word

"O ye women, wrap close ur cloak,
So u wont be bothered by ignorant folk"

Man doesnt tell me to dress this way,
It's a law from God that I do obey

Oppressed is something I'm truly not,
4 liberation is what I've got

It was given 2 me many years ago,
With the right 2 prosper, the right to grow

I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degree's

For God Himself gave us liberty,
When He sent Islam, to U & ME
