Poem About Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)

By: Minhal Badri

The crown of creation set with richest gems
Diamonds and rubies in value beyond ken
Unequaled in brilliance, unique of kind
Are thou, O great Prophet! to all mankind.

Truthful by nature and of most saintly men,
All called thee the Trusty, the Al-Ameen,
Most loving to children, courteous to all,
To animals, tender, alike to great and small,
Never on earth a nobler soul has trod,
Never had another showed a truer way to God.

O sweetest flower that ever on earth did bloom,
Matchless alike in divine beauty and perfume,
O whitest lily that human eyes have seen,
O loveliest rose that in the world had been.

All nature join in homage, all men adore
Thee who brought light to a dark some world,
Thee whose teachings are as a necklace of pearls
Which when worn does radiant beauty impart,
Adding luster to body, soul and to heart.
Ya Rasool-Allah! Our dearest friend and guide,
May God's eternal blessings with thee abide.

From the Arabian deserts thou surrounded thy call
To the worship of God, the Lord of all:
From the Arabian deserts thou taught mankind
Now the truest knowledge of God to find.

Thy words flew as lightening the whole world around
Of Truth and Light they did fully abound,
And nations, acknowledging the power of their sway,
Did find and follow the most truthful way.
In the wake of thy words true piety did spring,
And great knowledge and virtues did truly bring.
Never on earth a better soul was born.

Man was fast sinking in idolatry and sin
When thy great mission did first begin.
Then in place of darkness thou Light did give,
And taught mankind the noblest way to live;
And reformed the world as never before,
And unique blessings on it did bestow.

Praise be to Allah for this favor divine
In sending thee the wicked world to refine,
Ya Rasool-Allah! My homage I make to thee,
Ya Nabi-Allah! My love I tender thee,
My life, my all, for thee I gladly give,
Thy divine messages shall with me forever live
My love for thee no bounds does know,
In my heart thy memory shall ever glow
Allah’s peace and blessings on thee and your pure offspring.

Darte Hai Khwab Se Kahi
Toot Na Jaye, Lekin Sab Se
Zyada Darte Hai Aapse.

Kahi Aap Hume Bhul Na Jaye...

When death came knocking

It was early in the morning at four,
when death knocked upon a bedroom door,

At once, the man began to shiver,
As one sweating in deadly fever,

Please go away, O Angel of Death!
Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet.

The angel knocked again and again,
Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,

Bewildered, the man began to cry,
O Angel I'm so afraid to die,

Let me in, O Friend! The Angel said,
Open the door; get up from your bed,

The man held a gun in his right hand,
Ready to defy the Angel's stand.

By now the Angel was in the room,
Saying, O Friend! Prepare for you doom.

Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,
To die according to Allah's plan?

O Angel! I bow my head in shame,
I had no time to take Allah's Name.

Allah's command I never obeyed,
Nor five times a day I ever prayed.

The Hajj was already FARD on me,
But I would not part with my money.

Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine,
With flirting women I sat to dine.

The Laws of Quran I will obey,
I'll begin SALAT this very day.

I will refrain from usury,
And give all my wealth to charity,

We Angels do what Allah demands,
We cannot go against His commands.

I'm afraid this moment is your last,
Now be reminded, of your past,

You lived in this world, two score and more,
Never did you, your people adore.

Your two ill-gotten, female offspring,
In nightclubs, for livelihood they sing.

You ignored the Mua'dhin Adhaan,
Nor did you read the Holy Quran.

From hoarded goods, great profits you made,
And your poor workers, you underpaid.

You ate vitamins and grew more fat,
With the very sick, you never sat.

O Human, you have done enough wrong,
You bought good properties for a song.

Paradise for you? I cannot tell,
Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.

The ending however, is very sad,
Eventually the man became mad

O Reader! Take moral from here,
You never know, your end may be near

Who is there? The sleeping one cried.
I'm Malaikat Maut, let me inside.

He shouted to his sleeping wife,
Don't let him take away my life.

My family on me depends,
Give me a chance, O please prepense!

Tis your soul Allah requires,
I come not with my own desire.

I'll give you gold and be your slave,
Don't send me to the unlit grave.

If you do not allow me in,
I will walk through it, like a Jinn.

I'll point my gun, towards your head,
You dare come in; I'll shoot you dead.

Foolish man, Angels never die,
Put down your gun and do not sigh.

Come smile at me, do not be grim,
Be Happy to return to Him.

From morning till dusk, I made my wealth,
not even caring for my health.

A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went,
But no time had I to repent.

All charities I did ignore,
Taking usury more and more.

O Angel! I appeal to you,
Spare my life for a year or two.

My Fast and Hajj, I will complete,
And keep away from self-conceit.

Wine and wenches I will detest,
Allah's oneness I will attest.

Death is ordained for everyone,
Father, mother, daughter or son.

I do understand your fears,
But it is now too late for tears.

Your parents, you did not obey,
Hungry beggars, you turned away.

Instead of making more Muslims,
You made your children non-Muslims.

Breaking promises all your life,
Backbiting friends, and causing strife.

Horses and cards were your leisure,
Moneymaking was your pleasure.

A pint of blood you never gave,
Which could a little baby save?

When the farmers appealed to you,
You did not have mercy, tis true.

There is no time for you to repent,
I'll take your soul for which I am sent.

With a cry, he jumped out of bed,
And suddenly, he fell down dead.

Change your living and make amends
For heaven, on your deeds depends.

If the prophet visited you

If the Prophet visited you
(Peace and blessings be upon him)
I wonder........................

If Prophet Muhammad visited you
Just for a day or two,
If he came unexpectedly,
I wonder what you would do?
Oh I know you would give your nicest room,
To such an honoured guest,
And you would serve him your very best.

You would be the very best,
Cause you're glad to have him there,
That serving him in your home
Would be a joy without compare.

But...when you see him coming,
Would you meet him at the door?
With your arms outstretched in welcome,
To your visitor?

Or...would you have to change your clothes
Before you let him in?
Or hide some magazines and put
The Quran where they had been?

Would you still watch those movies?
Or your T.V. set?
Or would you switch it off,
Before he gets upset.

Would you turn off the radio?
And hope he had not heard?
And wish that you did not utter
your last loud hasty word?

Would you hide your wordy music?
And instead take out Hadith books?
Could you let him walk right in?
Or would you rush about?

And I wonder...if the Prophet spent, a day or two with you,
Would you go on doing the things you always do?
Would you go right on and say the things you always say?
Would life for you continue?
As it does from day to day?

Would your family conversations,
Keep up their usual pace?
And would you find it hard each meal,
To say a table grace?

Would you keep up each and every prayer?
Without putting on a frown?
And would you always jump up early,
For Fajr at dawn?

Would you sing the songs you always sing?
And read the book you read?
And let him know the things on which,
Your mind and spirit feed?

Would you take the Prophet with you?
Everywhere you plan to go?
Or, would you maybe change your plans,
Just for a day or so?

Would you be glad to have him meet?
Your very closest friends?
Or, would you hope they stay away,
Until his visit ends?

Would you be glad to have him stay?
Forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great relief,
When he at last was gone?

It might be interesting to know,
The things that you would do.
If Prophet Muhammad, came,
To spend some time with you.

everyone might think i am crazy but i collect islamic poem.... i no but i like reading them ,there is another one(i think this one)

Imagine yourself after you pass away
Imagine your grave through night and through day
Wishing that you did not do as they say
Wishing that you had got up and had prayed.

Imagine, my friends, the day that you died
Imagine all of the tears that they cried
Remember how it felt when your body was tied
Remember how it felt in the grave, which you lied.

Imagine the day you'll be called to account
Imagine the sum to which your life will amount
Think for a moment of the deeds, which you mount
Think for a moment how much they will count.

What will they say of you when you are dead?
What will they say, what will be said?
Will they speak of all the poor who you fed?
Will they remember all the Quran that you read?

Think not of them, but of Allah, Lord of mankind and jinn
Think of Allah when tempted to sin
Think of the paradise, which you will dwell in
Don't wait till later to think what might have been.

By Amherst D. Tyssen, not me!

Ye gates, unfold; strong walls, fall down;
Bow minaret and dome!
The seer, who fled with life proscribed,
Returns as conqueror home.

Ten thousand followers swell his train,
All armed with sword and shield;
His foes have found their forces melt,
And now must humbly yield.

No blood he sheds, no fine exacts,
No prince to prison sends;
Forgives, forgets all injuries past,
Treats enemies as friends.

Oh, hence may we a lesson learn
Sweet tempers to display,
And ne'er resent the varied wrongs
We suffer day by day.

Tho' others call our faith a sin,
And motives bad impute;
May we no angry word reply,
But rest in patience mute.

So shall they see that in our hearts
God's spirit truly lives;
And honour with unfeigned respect
The gentle grace it gives.[/

Only Your Name

The wind called your name
My eyes I closed and I heard
The wind called your name
All of the sudden, wiping away my pain

I opened my eyes, looked around
A beautiful flower I saw on the ground
and picked the flower, I heard its say!

It called Your name, oh it called Your name .

Up I looked, up to the sky so blue
No cloud could be seen, so blue the colour had been

Oh it called Your name, only Your name.

I ran and ran, the grass was mild to my small feet
The wind blew away my grief
The flowers smiled, their blooms so beautiful to my young eyes
Running still, my destination I didn't know
But they all called, and I had to find out.

The sweet butterfly, it flied pass me
I said please stay for a while,
It didn't stay, but I heard its say

Oh it called Your name, only Your name.

I stopped, and down fell a small raindrop.
In the middle of my hand, there it fell, so fast,
Without a warning it came, a little raindrop.

Oh it called Your name, only Your name.

Years have passed, I have changed
But I went back just to see it all the same.

My tears wouldn't stop, like the raindrop

Oh I called Your name, only Your name.
