She was such a respectful person and she never degraded anybody elses beliefs which is more than could be said for many of us on this board. Her intelligent contributions were always valued. It was a pleasure to know her.

May Allah[swt] accept her attempt to understand the Truth and may He[swt] accept her most acceptable position on La ilaaha illah Allah Muhammad ur RasoolAllaah

She was always so great, I don't think I ever disagreed with any of her posts. Always so polite and respectful. Knew more about islam that a lot of muslims.
I hope she died a believer, and hope that her illness and patience will be in her scale of the day of judgment, and I know Allah will reward her for them..

Note that the sentence stated by her friend was "La ilaha, etc". Eli's friend did not state and perhaps did not remember exactly what Eli had repeatedly said while she was in pain. I believe that it was at least "La ilaha ilallah."

Snakelegs is listed as an agnostic, but I always thought of her as an "irreligious monotheist". There is no question in my mind that she believed in One God.
