Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters in Islam. This morning a friend of Snakelegs sent me an email with an update on her situation. She was admitted to the hospital on Monday to do a biopsy on the mass on her lung, but I don't know of any results from this test. Since she has been unable to access her computer, I wanted to post a reply on this thread to urgently solicit your prayers. This is a very critical situation for a dear friend. May Allah heal her and ease her suffering.

Snakelegs, I will ask God to help you along in this hard time. I hope you get better and will be well enough to keep joining in on the conversations on the board. I always enjoy reading your posts.

Unfortunately, I have not heard from Snakelegs or from her friend since the update that I posted.

Yes, I have sent 3 emails to her friend since I got the one on 7/25/08. Insha'Allah we will hear something soon.

This morning, I received an email from Snakelegs' friend. She came home on Wednesday 7/30/08, but she was very weak from her ordeal in the hospital. She tried to use the computer on Saturday, but she was unable to sit very long at the desk.

Once again, I remind you that this is a very serious illness for a dear friend. :cry: Please, make extra du'a to Allah to heal her and to help her through this trying ordeal.

Insha'Allah she will return to LI soon to give you an update.

I'm really sorry to hear what you are going through, snakelegs. But know that you are not alone - we all remember you and pray for you. Insha'Allaah, something much, much better will soon come out of this.

And Allaah (swt) is the source of strength and Whose help is sought.
