Peace be upon those who follow G-d's Words.
Hi MTAFFI, hope all is well, and no worries about the mistake, we are all humans here
I looked at your thread yerstaday and refrained from replying since I just wanted to see how the thread would move, I have before my becoming a Muslim, read about something similar to what your are talking about, a religion which takes alot of those before, such as Judaism, Christianity, Islam and others, and has said that each of those were partial pieces to the greater puzzle, Judaism was the law or something, and taught us to obey commandments, Christiainity was to symbolise our sacrafise or something and Islam to symbolise submission.
Anyhow, I think personally, trying to connect all the religions into one and so forth is actually against alot of the religions themselves.
The Bible is clear of Jesus' speech, 'whoever is not with me is against me' and salvation biblically is very clear, the oft quoted verse of John 3:16 and other writings of Paul.
Islam also is clear, no other religion is acceptable to G-d, 3:85, and that Noone will bare the burden of others I think surah 53 speaks on that, that Jesus did not die 4:157 And so forth.
Having said this, Islam has a principle that does connect alot of the religions,
You see, in Islam, it teaches that both Judaism and Christiainty are former religions from G-d, from Messengers of G-d, and other Messengers and Prophets who have not been named also existed.
According to this belief, Islam does connect the religions.
Again, the belief in Islam does actually connect the religions and provides an idea that the religions are in some way connected. Why they are different? Islam teaches that, for more info please contact me and I can try find a thread where Islam's view is explained clearly.
I will leave it at this, I hope that this thread will continue to produce healthy conversation, for all Truth leads to G-d, for verily Truth has come and Falsehood is bound to perish.
Eesa.
